Very friendly staff, excellent location. It's actually dog friendly. There's a secure chain link dog run behind the motel. They charged me $10/night for a pet fee.

When booking these old fashioned motels we always wonder if they will be run down or the kept up to standard. P;leased to say that this lovely little motel is the latter. The room was clean and comfortable and the lady on the desk couldn't have been sweeter. She suggested that we go to see a local jam session band at the Occidental Saloon just a few minutes walk away, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. The food was great there too. No breakfast at the motel but we swung into a McDonald's just down the road on the way out the next morning. Good value.
