The staff were so friendly and welcoming and made it feel like home. The Lodge itself is in a lovely setting, surrounded by mountains and forest. We were lucky to go whilst it was snowing, so it looked even more beautiful. Breakfast is continental and tasty. They have a self service pancake making machine too. The room was very clean and a perfect temperature for our arrival. The jacuzzi bath was delightful and the bed was extremely comfortable, with great pillows too. There are facilities to make tea and coffee and a decent sized fridge in the room. Lots of sockets to charge your electricals

House 6 inches from the trees:) Grass was green & temp was great at the higher elevation. Sweet snacks on the table. HUGE deck all around. Deer off the patio. Lake 2 min hike away.

The breakfast was excellent, everything well presented and delicious, with personal table service. The hotel is well kept and curated in keeping with the time period. The bed was comfortable and the linens and towels were good. Service was friendly and efficient, location was great, near the centre without it being noisy. Parking was at the back and secure. There was very good communication with the hotel before we arrived and it was easy to find.
