I am honored to be the first Chinese guest of the Plastic Bottle Hotel. The owner is an excellent bird photographer. The house is filled with photos of various birds taken by the owner. The house is a 15-minute walk from the pier and a little over 10 kilometers away by taxi to see the shoebill. It is very convenient. The food cooked by the owner is also delicious. In short, everything is worth it!

The location is amazing 🤩 it overlooks lake Victoria and the whole place has beautiful artwork all around. The views are unmatched and the staff are equally exceptional in their service delivery 😁 Everything was clean and new. The staff made me feel at home and the kind lady at the reception even offered to warm up food I had brought in at check in. I met the owner/ manager Stella and she a lovely lady!
