Location. I thought other reviewers were just lucky to have animals walking through the lodge ground. We saw elephants all day. We even came across a hippo at night. Don't worry, you are accompanied by the local Askari after dark. The food was delicious. We are Jewish, so we wanted full board place with veggie options for the weekend. We were not disappointed. We were late to dinner by more than an hour (lions still hiding). Laundry was on time, dry, folded and reasonably priced.

As a tour operator, I booked this place for my clients. The place was super nice and the communication was very effective. We reached a little late and found Eunice and other two staff waiting for us. This was super amazing. We spent three nights at the property. Every night Hippos came in the compound to feed on every night. Hippos come with their young ones. I saw a whole family of hippos. 😜Mama, Papa and baby hippo. They come twice a nice at night Between 20:00hrs - 21:30 and then come back between 2:30 - 4:00 The place is very close to Kazinga channel boats and few km to Kasenyi gate in Queen Elizabeth national park. Since am a Birder, I could always start my birding while in the compound. I took enough Pictures of birds. The birds you are likely to see are;; Red necked spurfowl, laughing dove, mourning dove, snowy crowned Robin chat, white browed robin chat, black lores babblers, pied crow, marabou stork, village weavers, black headed Gonolek, Dideric cuckoo, ....... Then as you join the main road, there's a bush where you can see variety of birds.

Unique farmers stay with amazing view and - atmosphere was such a cool and memorable experience. The garden are beautiful, full of birdlife, and the amazing dog Max. Amazing place with great owners. Their main goal is to make you feel at home and they definitely will! Also, you don't need to go to a game drive after a few nights here – there are elephants, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs and sometimes even lions or hyenas coming to the lodge's doorstep. Highly recommended place, I will be so happy to come back! :-)
