The staff are really everything you would want in service and the food was excellent. The environment is great for relaxation, the camp fire is an experience for especially modern children who experience it less or never. I would recommend them over and over. And Yes, the animals come by anytime.

We love this place. It's basic accommodation but in an amazing location. You eat breakfast and dinner with hippos aside. Welcoming and kind owner who showed us hippos during the evening. Fresh fish from the lake for dinner. Our best experience with accommodation in Uganda. Thanks

As a tour operator, I booked this place for my clients. The place was super nice and the communication was very effective. We reached a little late and found Eunice and other two staff waiting for us. This was super amazing. We spent three nights at the property. Every night Hippos came in the compound to feed on every night. Hippos come with their young ones. I saw a whole family of hippos. 😜Mama, Papa and baby hippo. They come twice a nice at night Between 20:00hrs - 21:30 and then come back between 2:30 - 4:00 The place is very close to Kazinga channel boats and few km to Kasenyi gate in Queen Elizabeth national park. Since am a Birder, I could always start my birding while in the compound. I took enough Pictures of birds. The birds you are likely to see are;; Red necked spurfowl, laughing dove, mourning dove, snowy crowned Robin chat, white browed robin chat, black lores babblers, pied crow, marabou stork, village weavers, black headed Gonolek, Dideric cuckoo, ....... Then as you join the main road, there's a bush where you can see variety of birds.

EVERYTHING! This is a very special place and we cannot wait to return again!! The whole staffing team were so lovely and attentive and made sure our stay was exceptional. The property itself is very clean, beautifully decorated and well maintained… and the Views?! BREATHTAKING! Especially from our room - a gorgeous view of Lake George and the green rolling hills were amazing (especially the sun rises)! We loved the activities - swimming in the infinity pool, playing golf on their course, bike riding, camp fire roasting marshmallows and tree planting. And the highlight was absolutely being so strategically located near Queen Elizabeth National park so we were able to enjoy an early morning Game drive safari (the team organized a great driver and safari vehicle for us!) and also a boat safari along Kazinga Channel. The food was incredible, with daily 3 course meals that were perfection and Always on time! The choices they offered us were a great range of options and we loved everything we ate! Thanks so much for having us, we can’t wait to be back again.

This Lodge is great, all stuff members are very friendly, even lovely, polite and very helpful. Breakfast and all the other meals were good and tasty - and always on time ! We stayed there for three nights and every day the beds were made and the garbage was taken out. We did not have that in all the other places. Great job, hopefully this Lodge has a secure future. We would stay there again.
