We absolutely loved our stay at Lake Mwamba Lodge. The view is stunning, the food is great, but what really stuck out is how incredibly helpful and kind the staff was. We had issues wit our car battery and required somebody to jumpstart our car on the way to the lodge. Despite being 20 minutes away from the lodge, the guys managed to call people in the village that showed up within a few minutes and sorted us out. But even more remarkably, our battery died on us the morning of a planned Chimpanzee tour at 6am. The whole staff tried to help us and when the car just wouldn't start, they manage to organize a car from the owner in the village and driver. We managed to be at the tour by the skin of our teeth :-) While we were on the chimp tour, they handled the interaction with our rental company, got the battery replaced and our car was ready to be picked up in town when we were done. The whole team was so lovely. Amazing experience

Me and my family had a wonderful stay at Nyanja View. The surroundings are calm and offer stunning views, making it the perfect place to unwind. The rooms were beautifully decorated in a luxurious African style, very clean, and extremely comfortable. We loved spending our afternoons by the pool and ending the day relaxing near the fireplace. The food was excellent, always fresh and full of flavor. You could tell that a lot of care went into preparing each meal. The staff were warm, helpful, and consistently attentive. They were always available when needed and made everything feel easy and well-organized without being intrusive. I would happily come back and highly recommend Nyanja View to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Incredible service and the owners are very friendly. Would recommend to anyone visiting ughanda to stay here for part of their trip. Oh and the food was probably the best of all the places we stayed as well.

The views are stunning, it really feels like the top of the world! The chef Joseph was extremely accommodating and cooked us fantastic dinners and breakfasts, The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed - wish we could have stayed longer.

Peter and his staff were lovely and so very helpful. Peter tersely went out if his way to help me with a permit for the Chimpanzee tour. They support the local human wildlife coexistence activists who come and put on a beautiful performance. The food was DELICIOUS. I had dinner by the fire. Great service. Lovely setting and grounds.

A relaxing haven a stones throw away from Bigodi wetlands. We were made to feel very welcome by Bruce and his family. Whenever we needed any help - suggestions on activities, booking guides etc there was always someone available to help, but otherwise we were left to our own devices which we really appreciated. Bruce also helped us to book our Chimpanzee trekking permits ahead of our trip which was a massive help. The home cooked food Sabina served was all delicious and lovingly prepared. Our rooms were nicely furnished and very clean, beds comfortable, hot water and mosquito nets. The secure parking was also really handy as we were self driving

The rooms were new, spacious and clean. Staff were lovely and welcoming, especially Claire and Maureen. Chef Chris was welcoming and food yummy. Lovely gardens.
