Upon arrival, we were immediately surprised by the unique location of this lodge, situated on the top of a cliff with a rich history. Amongst it’s endless beach and rich marine life, it also serves as the perfect spot to watch the sunset and find your inner peace. The rooms, restaurant & other facilities, clearly taking into account principles such as ecology and sustainability, contributed to this experience. Most of all, we would like to thank the owners and staff, who all give their best during our stay, a healthy mix between passion and giving chances to the local communities. Thank you again for everything, I would recommend this to anyone who is staying near Tanga or Pangani :) Greetings, Nicolas & Enxhi 🙌🏝️

The owner and the manager are very, very kind. They are always helping with everything. It is a quiet, calm place. You will love this nature place, when you wake up…there will be monkeys and you will see many different butterflies as well. Everything is made with so much love & heart. There are so many, little details. ♥️

We had such a lovely time at Ushongo beach house. It is a very relaxing place, right on the sea front - the sunrises in the morning were stunning. All the staff were so kind - Lucy cooked us amazing food, Rahim was very helpful and Louis made sure that my friend made it to the airport on time, and let me check out late and enjoy my last day. It felt like they went out of their way to make our stay easy and comfortable. Nice food next door also, fresh catch of the day. I'd highly recommend!

We were looking for a genuine Tanzanian coast experience, and found a little corner of natural Paradise, run by Tanzanians with a genuine care for the local community.
