I really liked the accommodation. Mariola, our host was very helpful, she arranged everything what we asked. Breakfest and dinner was copious and delicious, the staff was also very nice. Rooms were clean and confortable. We could use the pool, and the beach is also close to the accommodation. Pleasurable place with very nice peple, I liked this very much. : )

You will have a beautiful stay in Marijani, intimate and extremely enjoyable. The staff is amazing. The resort is completely new and clean (they clean the room twice per day). The size is perfect and it's not overcrowded at all. You can completely enjoy your stay with your family or partner. During the day there is the animation staff for the ones who want to do some sports and during dinner, there is typically live music or some artistic show. The staff keeps the beach very clean and safe, hence within the perimeter of the resort the beach looks great and you can fully relax under the umbrellas.

The hotel is perfect for a quiet, relaxing escape, far away from the noise and the crowd of the popular beaches in Zanzibar. Very nice beach, dedicated to the resort guests only. The room is spacious, very clean, large bed, well equiped - iron, small espresso machine, large tv with netflix app, locker, 3 mirrors. We appreciated the staff being always supportive and making sure our stay is perfect. We were offered an early check-in and this was highly appreciated. Lots of activities organized at the resort, there is a schedule of every day activities like aqua gym, village walk, yoga, voleyball, beach football etc. The food for breakfast and for dinner (we had half board) was diverse and very good, with different specialities every night. During the dinner time we could enjoy dancing shows and live music. Special thanks to Mr. McDonald who was so kind to us. Special thanks to Amir who really tried to offer us the best options for check out and for always being there for every request.

Amazing location, right on the beach. Large sea-facing room on 1st floor has the most spectacular terrace we’ve seen - around 30 m2 overlooking the beach, with water few meters from the hotel. Room and the terrace occupies entire front of the building, so guests enjoy total privacy.

Generally, a lovely and intimate establishment with staff that care for your personal needs. The manager is so friendly and always wants to know how the guests are doing. The most beautiful sunrises. The performances add to the spice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The nearby beaches are scenic, but there are some important things to consider. The ocean is full of sea urchins, making swimming risky without proper footwear. During the day, low tide pulls the water far from the shore, so swimming may not always be possible. If you walk toward the reef, expect to be approached frequently by local beach vendors, which can feel intrusive — especially when you're clearly not carrying money. Local security presence is minimal, so don't expect much intervention in these situations. It's best to come prepared and manage your expectations if you're looking for a peaceful swim.

This part of Zanzibar offers a quieter, more serene setting compared to some of the more tourist-heavy areas. One of the things we appreciated most was that we weren’t constantly approached by local vendors, allowing us to fully relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

Authentic village. We didn't want to be in a resort.

Authentic village. We didn't want to be in a resort. The villagers were so friendly and wanted nothing in return apart from a hello back. There is a little shop just outside the gate for water etc. We got fruit for smoothies from the fruit stall in the village, they also sold sprite etc, there was a mobile shop and two lovely seafood restaurants. Our favourite was Mzuri run by a really friendly guy Hassan, wonderful succulent seafood. We loved it. It was just what we were looking for - authentic and local. The road is not graded, but I walk with a stick and it was fine for me. A few stretches were unlit but we take head torches.

The food was OK, the room was massively spacious and i loved it ,staff were friendly despite communication breakdown in most instances due to language barriers. Mr Betrand was so sweet a staff he made our stay so memorable always caring and bringing out the best out of us. Remo the property manager was awesome 👌

The property is located in a very convenient location, north-est of Zanzibar, very quiet, private and secure. The beach is 5 mins walking away from the resort. Since arrived we felt at home, anything you need or might wish will be provided. We wanted to book activities for the day, we ended up doing private tours with the guide who works for the hotel, he recommended us the most beautiful places to visit. Loved it, look forward to coming back!

The room was very spacious and the staff was super friendly. The location is amazing and the rooms have a sea view since the hotel is right next to the beach. The view was spectacular. The food from the hotel was amazing. Very delicious. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The location was quiet and well isolated. You wake up to the sound of the ocean waves. it was an amazing experience.

A lovely boutique hotel close to the beach and really easy to get to. The staff were extremely polite and helpful arranging transport from before we arrived and during our stay. They also made arrangements for activities in the area. The room was comfortable and spacious. I would use this place again.
