Our stay at Barabara eat and sleep in Paje was an absolute blast! We were blown away by the stunning design, aesthetics and impeccable maintenance of the rooms, which made our stay a truly luxurious and enjoyable experience. The thoughtful complementary water bottles were a lovely touch, making us feel pampered and taken care of. But that's not all - the food was out of this world! Each meal was a uniquely curated culinary adventure that left us craving for more. We felt like we were on a foodie's paradise! Abou, the staff member, was simply amazing. He anticipated our every need and went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. He suggested the most incredible activities that catered to our interests and made sure we had a blast! Ahmid, the driver, was an absolute pro - skillful, considerate, and patient. He made sure we had a stress-free stay and took us to all the best places on the island. The welcome drinks were a delightful surprise that made us feel instantly welcomed and appreciated. The entire staff was so courteous and hospitable that we felt like royalty! We can't rate Barbara's place highly enough - it's a must-stay location for anyone visiting Paje. Trust us, you won't regret it!

We liked everything about the property. Location is number 1 as it is 3 min from the beach and it is really safe walk where you do not need to pass through any local markets with being disturbed. Right on the beach you can find beach seats for free or with some fees that you can use as payment for drink or food. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. I have got fever and they brought for me to the room tea, soup and let me eat inside. They advised places to go for buying fruited and good pharmacy. The pool is gorgeous. After long day at the beach or excursions you can enjoy your evening next to it. There is a massage available for the guests with reasonable price of 19.9 USD and it is just amazing and super relaxing. We really had a good time at Mem Luxury Apartments and hotel.

We are in the middle of a 2 month journey through East Africa and we decided to take a break for 5 days and enjoy all that Zanzibar had to offer. We absolutely loved Zula Zanzibar and we feel lucky to have stumbled across this amazing hotel online. Our room was spotless, air con was refreshing, the second storey deck off of our room was a great place to chill, beds were firm but the pillows were comfortable and they even supplied mosquito nets but we didn’t need them. The pools were perfect and were well taken care of. The lounge chairs were comfortable. The wifi was strong. The wind was always blowing which kept away the insects and allowed you lie comfortably in the sun, and the location offered breathtaking views especially from the elevated ocean front pool. It’s a couple minute walk from the local gift shops and ‘The Market’ where you can get everything you need. The food at Zula Zanzibar was on par in terms of price and quality and was better than many of the other places we tried - not to mention the free freshly baked cookies always available at the front desk plus the staff would sometimes walk around and offer complimentary samples of local appetizers which were all to die for, especially the slightly spicy potato thingy’s which were pure addiction. Having said all that, it’s the staff at Zula Zanzibar that really sets this place apart. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel like part of a family. Mary, Ben, Benti, Janet, Patricia and the countless other staff never missed a chance to say hello and to see how we were doing. The restaurant staff couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive and even the cleaning staff always made sure we always had what we needed. This place is run very well and the staff is always out making sure every little detail is taken care of.
