This is a fantastic place to stay. The bungalows are spacious, clean, lovingly furnished and directly at the beach. The pool is super nice and also the beach is clean and very good for swimming. There are also several options to relax on the beach. The food is brilliant and the staff super friendly. Calvin and his team take care about their guests very courteously and it already felt like a family in the end. Thank you so much !

We were looking for an intimate, small hotel for a romantic stay away from other tourists. That's exactly what Clove Island is. It's a combination of peace, quiet and beautiful views. There is a hotel restaurant on site, where we had a chance to try some really delicious meals. The rooms have great design in a very original style. We would like to thank all the hotel staff for their warm welcome and help in our first, but not the last adventure in Zanzibar! We will certainly visit you again!

Jambo, Location location location...... right on the beach, yet centre of town, with it's own private beach around a lovely pool, we had a sea view room with a really comfy bed. The staff are all welcoming and friendly and Charlotte is a wonderful host, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests. As for the food served...... Delicious! Fresh organic fruit and vegetables along side local produce and a lovely mix of African and European cuisine to suit every palate. The people of Jambiani are very friendly and welcoming, even the little children say "Jambo" welcome when you meet them on the street.

We stayed here for 4 fabulous nights early October, after a couple of nights in Stonetown and a safari on Tanzania and Kenya! We were so glad we picked this resort due to it's location, size of the resort and value for money! Jambiani is an authentic village in Zanzibar, with seaweed farming, right outside the resort on the beach, so you can have a taste of the true culture. However this does not take away any comforts or luxury from the resort - all the rooms are situated around this amazing pool, which then had views of the beach. The staff were amazing, and the food was excellent! You also had alternative restaurants just short walks up the beach. Make sure you go for a sail and/or snorkel with "Mr Coconut" on a traditional dhow.

I loved it all. Wonderful location, excellent service and very comfortable rooms. I was looking for a place to relax. Booked 4 nights and stayed a week. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is amazing and everything is prepared for you to lay back and enjoy while listeningto the sound of nature (I really appreciate they don't play music neither offer loud activities). The swimming pool is a great extra, as the tide varies a lot (that is what makes Jambiani so special). I hired the snorkeling tour with Capitan Zapi and it was lovely. I also loved the restaurant: great choices and not overpriced. I definitely want to come back next year.
