The location is great, has a nice beach holidays vibe with only 8 bungalow, so a cozy place and not crowded. Mainly polish and Italians when we were there. We slept 8 nights in a twin bed room, no sea view but the beach was right outside the door. Mattress were super comfortable and air conditioning was working well, there was no sea breeze in our specific room. Pressure in the shower was also there which is a plus. We were very much impressed with the good food from the restaurant, from breakfast to dinner. The staff was prepared and nice, really a good team work. We had few power outages as it is normal on the island but the generator is working well and electricity is back in few minutes. A plus, you have also free water all day which is great with such temperatures. Thank you Magda and the Poa Poa Team for the nice stay!

Our stay was simply perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The service was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and truly personalized, the team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was just right for us. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. Our room was beautifully designed, and everything feels thoughtful and special. It’s rare to find a place where you feel both at home and pampered, but here they managed to do exactly that. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful during my stay, the facilities were excellent the gym and spa especially so. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a beautiful sea view to be woken to. The breakfast buffet had great variety and was amazing to have next to the ocean breeze that wakes you right up from any exhaustion. The beach with its white soft sand is to die for, I will be visiting again with my family next time.

The hotel is great, the rooms are nice and clean, the garden is beautiful. Remo and Bertram deserve special mention. They do everything to make their guests feel comfortable. I have been to many hotels and the staff were often very helpful and friendly, but these two and everyone else like the cook, cleaning lady, etc. just do everything. The service is world class! My partner had an accident, Bertram brought him some soup without asking, and before that, our whole breakfast was brought to the room on the top floor without asking. Remo contacted the doctor and helped us with a Masai stick because my partner had difficulty walking. We then wanted to spend a few more nights in the sister hotel "Sofia Sea View" and we got a good deal for this and Remo took us there too. This hotel is also really nice and a bit more luxurious with larger rooms and direct beach access. Bertram also accompanied us to ATMs or Remo drove us there by car. I can really recommend both hotels to everyone. I have never experienced better service, but one that is so unobtrusive, sensitive and just incredibly friendly and kind. We will definitely be back and miss it there. You really feel like "at home".

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in August 2023. We enjoyed almost everything, except for the tides, but they're pretty much everywhere except the busy beaches of Zanzibar, which we didn't want to go to. About the hotel: it's secluded, peaceful, with stunning nature and sunrises. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is attentive, and the restaurant serves delicious food. Funny nocturnal creatures similar to lemurs also visited the restaurant.

Very cozy hotel with amazing and very friendly staff and hosts. The room was very spacious with clean linens and good pressure in the shower. Breakfasts were amazing and here they can make good espresso as well. The swimming pool and some shadows around it could really provide some rest from the hot weather conditions on Zanzibar.
