me and my daughter just turned back home and already miss our great stay. the room are very clean , have all you need. breakfast and dinner are superlatives. loved to step out the room and putting my barefoot directly on the sand...few steps more and you're directly on the wide, white beach. you can use the two bicycles to wander around and if you love to sleep with the sound of the ocean, the quietness of the nature surrounding you, great staff at your disposal what whatever you need...well this is the right spot. thanks to Sebastian and laura :-))

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Tembo Kiwengwa resort. The service is truly 110% exceptional. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond for everything we needed. Special thanks to Amir, who organized a memorable floating breakfast in our beautiful private pool suite! The room was new, spacious, and spotless, with great amenities. The location right on the beach is perfect, and the food was very good. Everything was new and lovely. Highly recommend this resort for comfort, luxury, and unmatched service.

Very friendly host who makes sure you have a great experience. The house is right on the beach with your own private sun beds to lay on. Kiwengwa is an amazing place , only annoying this is the amount of African people that hassle you on the beach - men dressed as masi that are not from the the masi Maru tribe ( pretending they are ) and annoying you when you trying to enjoy a peaceful walk it is over bearing and no one wants that on their holiday - was most beaches in Zanzibar !!

Our stay was amazing and peaceful. The staff was funny and very friendly. Big thanks to Jana and her staff, Lameck in the restaurant section and Janet in housekeeping was so sweet and they looked after us at our 8-night stay. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Lovely beach on the Indian Ocean.

Lovely beach on the Indian Ocean. Lots of restaurants, bars and snack shops from higher end and usual fare to local pubs and dining. Beautiful views, jet ski, kite surfing and dhow or outrigger hires for snorkeling. beautiful clear water and you can walk the sandbars at low tide or swim there at high tide. An hour or so from Stone Town hustle and bustle, but still close enough for a day excursion.

The beach is arguably one of the best on the island—long, swimmable, and vibrant. While it has more energy and amenities than a secluded spot, we still found it peaceful and relaxing, especially during the mornings. It's the perfect base for anyone who wants both stunning beach life and easy access to restaurants and activities.

Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family. Exquisit nature, kind people and the best food. Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice. We loved every minute of our stay at Kiwengwa.

Paradise.

Paradise. Very long and large beach, friendly local people, very calm and quite place. We loved it. Its very save even in the nightwalks on the beach. There are some restaurants, coffee places where you can drink fresh, cocktails or snacks.

Our family found Z lodge after a disaster of a stay in Kiwengwa main beach, we moved from our original hotel and found a great deal with these guys, they helped us with excursions, Mary the owner and my wife made really nice photshoots on the beach swings, and the kids played in the pool all day, I had some time to go fishing with the local fisherman, special treats from the kitchen all day, big tuna's to the north, speak to sule the manager and he will fix you with all your needs.

The location is really nice. Even though the hotel itself is not really at the beach ( they have a beach bar and the hotel is like 100 m further), that beach is the best one we've seen in Zanzibar. The rooms were clean and food was decent. The ac was working fine and water in the shower was hot. Internet was good.

Great location and set up. Nice staff, good food, small and personablel hotel. Good option for Zanzibar in our opinion as its not too busy a spot, the hotel rooms step right onto the beach and the sea is lovely here for swimming (not always the case given the reef and the tides)
