The pool was fantastic! Guests can enjoy the beauty of the gorges while floating on the water. Cannot think of a better way to relax. Also, there are small tubs with hot spring water. You can dip yourself in the hot bath then move to the cold water in the pool, back and forth. The room, honeymoon studio, was outstanding. The shower room had a small window to a private garden allowing us to watch birds while showering. There was also a nice bathtub. The free cosmetics and hair dryer were really top notch. The fridge was daily refilled with courtesy drinks including Taiwanese beer and tasty complimentary snacks were also provided. Breakfast was, as expected, out of this world.

Convenient place to stay if you want to travel to Taroko gorge. From Xincheng you can take a 10min bus to the entrance of the park and beat the crowds to do Shakadang at 7am. The room is basically a cabin inside a hotel so it feels like you’re in a hotel. Everything is clean, fancy, and modern. You can enjoy all the facilities of a hotel (except the pool). There are only 4 beds in the dorm which is great and I was completely alone on my first night there.

With only 1.5 km away from the nearest coast in Xincheng, Taroko Liiko Hotels boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site.

Beautiful small hotel on the outskirts of Hualein near the entrance to the Taroko Gorge. On a busy main road but surprisgly quiet and serene that we hardly noticed. Staff wonderful and breakfast amazing. Would highly recommend.

The accommodation was clean and excellent value for money. The owner of Homestay is very attentive, he speaks Chinese and a little English, but he's very helpful. The bed was very soft and comfortable, making it the best place to stay on my trip. Transportation is also convenient, with a bus stop nearby. Taroko National Park is just a 10-minute from the accommodation. Nearby are local restaurants, souvenir shops, and a Family Mart, making it very convenient. The location is also close to Xinchen Railway Station.

We had a lovely stay at the guesthouse, which was clean and comfortable. The shared living room has coffee and tea-making facilities and fruits. Hao and his mum, Lily, are warm, friendly and helpful hosts. They provided recommendations and bus schedule information regarding places of interest in the Taroko Gorge. Hao picked us up from the train station, helped us to make dinner reservations, drove us into town for dinner and picked us up after dinner. Hao and Lily bought breakfast based on items that we select from a menu. The breakfasts we had on both days were delicious. The guesthouse is conveniently located just a few bus stops away from the Taroko Gorge Visitor Centre and entrance to the Shakadang Trail.

Absolutely wonderful little BnB! Very welcoming host. Wonderful delicious breakfast. Beds were very comfortable. The location was beautiful. Extremely clean! Water dispenser. Would absolutely stay here again. Found a great restaurant close by for dinner - Finger Food Restaurant.

Excellent choice of accommodation to access both Taroko NP and the best beaches and beautiful cliffs in the eastern coast. The house is situated in a beautiful lush tropical garden, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The host is very kind and helpful.
