Perfect place next to the main bus stop Jiufen old street. The English-speaking hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They also gave us good hiking advice. Breakfast was good, great shower, comfy bed, and spacious room. They also have a nice roof top terrace.

The room was set up beautifully - a lot of thought had gone into the presentation and everything was very new and clean. There was plenty of space in the bathroom, the seat with a view down over the town and to the sea was a perfect spot to sit and admire the view, the beds were very comfortable, the tea provided was very nice, and the wooden details throughout the room and the shared entrance area were beautiful. Much of Jiufen has very narrow streets and stairs that taxis cannot navigate, but this accommodation was very convenient as an taxi can drop you off on the road at the top of the hill less than a minute's walk away.

The room is very well decorated just as shown in the pictures. Staff is very nice and helpful since before our visit. I've asked for vegetarian meals and the staff ask for the details of what we can or cannot eat and the place provides according to our request. During our stay, the staff responds very well. Breakfast are very delicious and there's variety of food. The view is good. There's parking lot nearby but if you go there during weekends, the parking lot may not be enough.

The hotel is clean and is located a walking distance to the old street. It is also located high up so that you can get a view of the area when the weather is clear, and the area around the hotel is quiet. We came late in the evening. The housekeeper/owner asked us if we have eaten dinner. When we said no, he kindly gave us free cup noodles since most of the restaurants were already closed. There were complimentary snacks and tea on the common area by the reception. We were unfortunate with the weather, as it was raining the whole day after we arrived. It was good that they have umbrellas that guests can borrow from the hotel. The umbrellas are very practical to have when the rain is light or moderate, but not when it is heavy and windy. When we got back to the hotel, our clothes and shoes were soaking wet. It was good that we had a shoe dryer in the room, as well as dehumidifier. The owner/housekeeper can only talk Chinese, but we had good communication with the help of Google Translate. The hotel is located near a charming cafe that looks like a greenhouse from inside. The hotel has a partnership with the cafe, so we got 10% off our orders. The cafe serves good breakfast and tea.

I love it! Warm & cozy room, full equipment, felt like at home. Breakfast was good & the host was so friendly, always smile, though not good at english but trying to communicate with me, showed me the tea house & cake shop which she appreciates. Bed was comfort, quiet at night. There is a spot to view the landscape of mountain & sea only take one flight of stair from the BB, I love waking up early & take a walk around.

After about two flights of stairs in the pouring rain, we arrived at the B&B. We were greeted by a nice lady who helped check us in. She doesn't speak English but did her best to translate all the required information. The next day, the rain was still pouring. The owner noticed wa worried that our shoes would get wet and offered shoe covers free of charge. That was a really kind and nice gesture. Do support this family run business. We're happy to stay here again.
