I was captivated by the city's dynamism and its plethora of sights and tourist attractions to explore. I also enjoyed restaurants, and the hotel where I stayed.
However, amidst the splendor of the city, one aspect that might give pause is its price tag. While the city undoubtedly offers unparalleled experiences, exploring its wonders may come with a hefty price. From admission fees to dining expenses, budget-conscious travellers might find themselves stretching their wallets. Despite this minor drawback, Istanbul's allure remains undeniable and I will certainty return, eager to share its wonders with my family.

The 1.5-hour boat tour on the Bosphorus, starting near the Dolmabahçe Mosque, is worth the 5 euros. The queues at tourist attractions are between 30-60 minutes, with prices 5-10 times higher for tourists compared to locals. The Turkish food is excellent.

Definitely a must see city.
Definitely a must see city. Despite the rumors of oriental habits and lifestyle, the city is equal to a european capital in tidiness, cleanliness, architecture preservation, infrastructure and richness of places to visit, dine, shop or just enjoy a coffee. People are polite and friendly to visitors. Grab your backpack and some water and walk as much as you can - you won’t regret.
We went as a guest and returned as a family. The staff at Westist are excellent. From the reception to housekeeping and the restaurant; everyone had a charming attitude towards guests. We stayed for 8 nights and we were taken care of amazingly.
To take a few names;

The hotel is located in the most accessible place which takes you to Taksim Square and anywhere around Istanbul.
I liked the fact that this hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul and the prices are pretty decent given the location. The hotel’s proximity to landmarks such as Galata Tower and Taksim square really make it stand out.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and even though I only booked the hotel for 4 nights they were able to provide me with accommodation for 2 additional nights.
Overall, highly recommended! 🤩
All the best,
Georgi (Bulgaria) and Semra (Turkey)
Ramada Plaza is a good option for istanbul travelers,
we had a good stay its away from chaos yet near from taksim square for around 20 mints walk and from nasintasi as well, the good part is Mcdonalds in the hotel. some little things were missing in the room like shoe cleaner, loofah , toothbrush & the AC needs to be renewed. but all in all our stay was great , good and friendly staff. special thanks to Eyupcan for his great welcoming. I Recommend this Hotel 👍🏼
This property has almost everything one wants during travel. I stayed with my family for 04 nights. we were warmly welcomed and offered best hospitality possible. location is great. Just 02 minutes walk to Taksim Square. everything is nearby for daily life.
Hotel manager, Mehmet, is such a nice guy. He arranged a bosphorus cruise dinner trip and airport transfer at very good rate. He offered all kind of assistance wherever required. Highly recommend for stay.
The hotel is close to Taksim square which is ideal as I was in Istanbul between flights. Ingoing flight was delayed and arrived in the morning instead of evening and still allowed to use the room, to fresh up and rest. Nice hotel in a great part of town.
Nice modern room.
Thanks to the guy on the reception for his help and possibility to use the room and drop of bags for the rest of the day.
This is one of the best locations, hotels in Istanbul for a tourist. Equipped with a kitchen, laundry and living area in the heart of Taksim. It allows to decompress after a busy day. The staff is excellent and go above and beyond. They were able to get me an airport pickup and dropoff at a very reasonable price as well. The rooms are remarkably soundproof given the location.
Great place to stay right in the heart of Istanbul with all the public transport within reach. Nicely decorated and very clean rooms, very polite and helpful staff.
Would recommend it to anyone who wishes to be in the heart of the city and the nightlife activities (2 minutes to Taksim Square by foot!!) and needs a great hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms to stay in.
I have stayed at several 5 star hotels in Istanbul and paid about 3 times the amount than this hotel. However, this was actually the best decision I made. It was so worth the value and more. From the location to the staff to the hotel itself absolutely impeccable. Loved it! Highly recommended. You can't possibly go wrong with this hotel. Can't wait to come back.
Location excellent especially when walking what is the best option to see old town.Terrible traffic in town(from Sabiha G. airport to Aya Sophia-90 minutes drive)
Nothing in Istanbul is expensive, all prices are affordable. It is the cheapest city I ever been.
Breakfast is ok served on top hotels restaurant with fantastic view to Aya Sophia and Bosphor .
Location is perfect...close to Taksim square, metro, shopping street, just 5 min walk from HaviIST airport shuttle drop-off.
We checked the SPA at 20.00hr one night and it was fully functional and staffed, so the hotel justifies the SPA in the name.
All staff were English speakers, whist general feel of Istanbul restaurant was so-so
Amazing location, just next to Taksim square. Room is newly furbished and very clean. Very close to bus shuttles which go to airport, also close to Istanbul metro. Hotel staff was also friendly and helpful. If you are in Istanbul for couple of days and looking for a central hotel just to sleep, perfect choice.
I enjoyed my two days at this hotel. The location is great. Despite being close to Taksim Square and a 10 min walk from the shuttle bus to Istanbul airport, the street wasn't loud and overcrowded as it was with other places I came across. The staff, especially Elchin was quite friendly and professional.
Hotel was very clean and in good condition. Location was very good and close to Taksim square where you can catch up Airport buses. Breakfast was delicious and service staff was friendly .I recommend this hotel for tourists who wanna to enjoy Istanbul visits in terms of price, location and service.
EXCELLENT BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN CENTRAL ISTANBUL
- Professional team offering 5 stars services.
- Good situation of the hotel in the vicinity of Taksim square which is the heart of the business and leisure quarter in Istanbul.Although it is very quiet.
- Excellent breakfast : generous and varied.
I liked everything about the hotel, staff Polina Mustafa and ibrahim were the best they were kind a polite and very helpful i recommend everyone who is traveling to Istanbul to book there as its in a great location 5 mins walk away from istiklal street and taksim square and metro
Best Apart-Hotel in ISTANBUL, hands down one of the best, this facility never disappoints, security, staff, walking score, 10 minutes to Cevahir mall, 10 minutes to Taksim SQ, 10 minutes to downtown ISTANBUL whew all the clubs and lounges are. Five stars all the way
I would say it is the most comfortable place among the places I have stayed in Istanbul. It is very close to Taksim square, from there it is convenient to go anywhere. The hotel managers are very caring, always interested and help in whatever you need.
The best bed I slept in istanbul. spent nights at different supposed 5 star hotels, only this had a decent bed to sleep in. others their bed was too soft. supermarket was right behind and close to wide variety of restaurants
The hotel is located directly to taksim Square which made it easy for me to move from and within.the metro was so approach to visit various and almost all the beautiful and historical places in Istanbul.
