Excellent location with walking distance to the main historical attractions, grand bazaar and the Marmara sea coast (360 degree view from the roof tarace). Very close 100-300 m to the variety of different restaurants and shops. Very good breakfast choice at the hotel incl. variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. The hotel is very clean. The reception team incl. Mr. Daniel and his wife was always helpful and pro-active. We arrived late in the night and they were welcoming us with a smile and showed the room.

FAQs about hotels in Istanbul

The Best of Asia and Europe

The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. The amazing Old Town and the Sultanahmet are home to iconic Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. More history is hidden in the Topkapi Palace, where you can glimpse the splendour and opulence of Turkey’s Ottoman heritage.

Take a stroll through the historic centre or the bustling Taksim Square before watching the sun set behind countless mosques and minarets. Local fish markets and numerous restaurants lining the bridge to Galata offer the Golden Horn’s daily catch.

If you prefer the fine art of bargaining to fine art, lose yourself in the Grand Bazar and maybe you’ll emerge with a hookah, some Turkish coffee, or even a carpet. The Spice Bazar further immerses you in the sights, smells, and tastes of Turkish culture.

Getting to Istanbul is an easy trip from Ataturk International Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel on the Asian side or a budget hostel in Taksim Square, Booking.com has over 1,000 great accommodations for your holiday in Istanbul.

Beautiful and friendly city with ease of public transport (...

Beautiful and friendly city with ease of public transport (bus or subways). Taxi drivers are a bit tricky (please always insist on metered use and yellow taxi). Lots of family friendly activities from Princess Island visits to sitting on the Marmara sea marina and soaking the sun. Shopping is reasonable and history is so so abundant and eye catching

A beautiful and fascinating city — a true melting pot of cultures, cuisines, art, and architecture! You’ll need at least a week to calmly explore its main attractions, nearby areas, and really take in the local culture. It can be a bit confusing to navigate, with its winding and diagonal streets, so I recommend planning your walking routes in advance, as Google Maps doesn’t always get it right. For longer distances, it’s best to use Uber or a taxi app like BiTaksi, which maps your route and helps you avoid being overcharged. Ferries are an inexpensive and scenic way to cross to the Asian side, but be aware that the instructions on the card (ticket) machines are only in Turkish. My hotel was in a quiet area away from the busy tourist streets, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. To get to and from the airport, it’s best to pre-book a shuttle or taxi recommended by the hotel, as this ensures a smooth and stress-free transfer.

Amazing city, thriving, energetic and full of cultural attractions and endless dinning experiences. The city may seem overwhelming at times, but the best advice is to see what can be seen during this trip and leave the other attractions for your future trips.

It is an amazing city full of history.

It is an amazing city full of history. There is a lot to see. Although main attractions (Topkapi, Aghia Sophia, Yerebatan Sarneci) are rather expensive, they are worth the cost. A particular mention may apply to Aghia Sophia. I was lucky enough to have seen it 26 years ago while it was a museum. It was a much nicer experience as you could visit all of it and could admire all its parts. Now that was turned again into a mosque, despite the step entry price you can only see it from the upper gallery and some of the mosaics are awkwardly covered by drapes. The Ottoman mosques are stunning and are free. Sultanahmet, Suleymaniye, Rustem Pasa, Fatih are arguably the most beautiful. Moving around with public transportation is rather easy and not expensive. Eating is the last of your problem, literally thousands of places to choose from.

Istanbul is an amazing city.

Istanbul is an amazing city. It’s full of life, history, and great food. You can feel the mix of cultures everywhere, in the streets, the people, and even the smells coming from the markets. The views over the Bosphorus are beautiful, and there’s always something interesting to see or do. I loved how friendly and helpful everyone was. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Nothing, because all the negative experiences ruined my experience of visiting Istanbul, I will never stay here again. Also, don't book any excursions with the hotel, they pocket huge amounts of the profits.. For Bosphorus boat tour they tried charging me an extortionate 500 USD per person at first for booking through the hotel. Being a tourist from the UK, they try to sell the best boats Istanbul has to offer to you, but in reality you'll get a boat worth 10 euros at the maximum. Be careful of these deceitful tactics!

Riadh, was one of the most supportive representatives we have seen in the recent past. If we talk about a 3 star hotel list in Istanbul this hotel can be considered one of the top tiers. I would highly recommend that if someone is booking the room in their hotel use their taxi service. It is at least half less than airport taxis. The rooms are decent. Best place for tourists. Buses, trams, food places are all within walking distance. A true delight for travellers and explorers!

I chose the hotel mainly for the location, close to the Taksim bus stop for the airport bus (I was basically transiting through Istanbul). It’s in a grid of streets with plenty of hotels, restaurants and cafes, and right beside Taksim Square itself. The hotel is fine, fairly small, with clean modern rooms and a good lift. Very convenient and straightforward.
