The breakfast was a Turkish delight with menemen (scrambled eggs with veg), borek (cheesy pastry rolls) and fried aubergines and peppers as well as the usual salad, cheeses, meats, jams and honey etc, and chips - Turkish chips are not served hot, they're different but delicious. The swimming platform across the road is above deep water but there's also a plunge pool on the 4th floor terrace you can get to via the lift. The hotel is conveniently sited, about 15 minutes walk from the town centre. It does not sell alcohol but allows you to go to the local shop to buy it. Sipping a glass of wine on the upper terrace and watching the sun go down over what is probably the most beautiful view in Finike is my idea of heaven. I've stayed in several hotels here, including some close to the long sandy beach, but from now on I will always choose Otel Carpe Diem Gold despite its faults because for me the charming staff, the swimming platform, the terrace views and the breakfasts are the best.

The location is great - right across from the marina and in walking distance from the town and some beaches. Although speaking English was a challenge for some staff members, there were plenty of smiles and Google Translate saved the day. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. I liked the Smart TV and free fast WiFi. The room had a lovely view, a little balcony and quiet aircon. I was travelling with a group for an art workshop and the hotel offered us breakfast earlier than their usual time so we could have an early start - and the breakfast was excellent and a little bit different each day. I like the artwork on the walls & in the dining room and the lovely tote bag, fresh fruit and olives that were offered as gifts to us guests.

Everything was great. Could not fault anything. The hosts Ramazan & Gulljan were very hospitable. Tea, coffee and breakfast was offered if you needed it. Ramazan also took us to the bus station, which was a great help.

If you are up for some loneliess or tired of ruble and noize - this plase is the rightest choice for you. 10 mins aways from the city by car. 1 min away from the beach with noone there. Calm and quiet, freshly buld hotel withh all the brand new stuff. Extremmely friendly staff and the most extremelly friendly little doggo at the entrance. The guy (manager I assume) gave us a lift to the busstation and helped to catch the bus which almost left already by then.
