Staff were so professional and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean and stylish. The pool area was lovely with free towels to use. Breakfast was delicious and you can sit in the outside dining area with an amazing view. Very peaceful and just step outside to hotel and you're in a busy area with popular food places and sites. They organised an airport transfer and I also used the hammam and had a great massage. Loved it!

Sidi Bou Said is a traditional village, plenty of market stalls and restaurants to suit all budgets, sea views at various locations throughout the village are excellent. Some steep and uneven surfaces to deal with but well worth it.

One of the bonuses of staying at La Villa Bleue in Sidi Bou Saïd is that this gorgeous and charming village is much more tranquil when the day-trippers or those on a short stopover leave…Then you have some of the great photo spots all to yourself, maybe in the early morning or evening light as well.

A beautiful touristy area. pricy but many restaurants and places to stay. Lots of souvenir stores with shop barkers extolling their wares. Its small enough to walk about most of the area. In the summer, it is very hot with little shade which can be strenuous for elderly, infirm people.

A haven of blue tranquility and art with an other worldly feel. The people are friendly. We felt safe and never felt threatened in any way. The taxi system works wonderfully although some of the vehicles can do with a bit of maintenance. The food is delicious. The medina a thrilling experience. The colosseum a must visit together with the other ruins in Carthage. The harissa, art galleries, history and medinas made this a wonderful destination for stroll off the beaten track.

Lovely old village, despite the occasional bus loads of tourists pouring in. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular and there are several public terraces where people congregate to watch and socialize. Great cafes to hang out at, but you have to look hard for good food. Getting around on foot is easy, but it’s recommended to hire a taxi to take you around the various Carthage sites.

I loved my stay at Raf guesthouse. The room was beautiful and bigger than expected. Shower was wonderful and hot. It was cold in Nov in Sidi Bou Said, but the radiators warmed the room up and it was so warm and cosy. WiFi worked well. There was a nice communal area with sofas to sit in. The breakfast was delicious. The main shops and cafes were an easy 5-8 min walk away. But the highlight was the friendly welcome from the owner Raouf, who was so kind and helpful during my stay. I would love to return one day.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Sidi Bou Said. A must try for all the lovers of small boutique hotels decorated with passion. The view is breathtaking, the common area are an art gallery, the room are very comfortable and super well decorated and the service is a mix between a 5 stars hotel and having its own staff in a luxury house.

Yousef went above and beyond to make our first days in Tunisia as comfortable as possible. He arranged a car for us to drive to the south. He stayed up to greet us past official checkin time. Sidi Bou Said and Carthage are picturesque safe areas. Easy to explore Tunis from there with taxis.
