1. The room is clean and spacious, has little kitchen to prepare your own breakfast, a big enough fridge 2. The staffs are excellent, they gave us 5 star service. My wife even gave them 8 Star for the services 3. You can't meet a host as best and kind like Joy, the owner. But please don't take her kindness for granted. She made us really enjoyed and love Trang. We love you, Joy!!! 4. The location is amazing. You can enjoy night market every night, it is only few minutes walk from Nara 5. The bed, and small kitchen inside the room were the best. We had wonderful sleep without problems.

The best was so comfy, the shower was hot, the room beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Free coffee machine, staff were super friendly. It was a fantastic location for an overnight 10 mins from airport and pick up for islands from hotel. After a long day of travel it was everything we needed and more. Thank you so much

I know Trang from my early days, some 34 years ago when I lived here... There are just a few parts of Thailand that can match the diversity and lush green surroundings - one would be Khao Lak. Trang has many limestone caves, temples and an abundance of waterfalls and islands to explore. I still love this place very much today, after such a long time and keep coming back with my family. If you want to explore Thailand unspoilt and like in the good old days, away from the crowds, Trang is the perfect choice for you!

there are a number of attractions here including hot springs, which we enjoyed -- the restaurants seemed varied and of good quality, although the food was so good at our resort, we did not dine in town very much.

Trang is a great place to get a taste for a real Thai city, especially before or after a stay out at the islands. After our trip out to the Koh Mook and Koh Libong, a stay in Trang provided a different, but equally interesting experience of city life in Trang. Beautiful landscapes surrounding city and the food scene is crazy and amazing (as with much of Thailand)! We had just one night here and a little under a day, which was a perfect amount of time for us to rent a scooter and explore a couple of cool sites in the area (Khao Chang Hai Cave, Weaving Center), visit the night markets, and experience the famous Trang dim sum breakfast. My husband and I definitely thought Trang City was worth a visit!

City with a lot of delicious food, a lot of charm landmarks.

City with a lot of delicious food, a lot of charm landmarks. Beaches are not as beautiful as Krabi, Phang Nga or Phuket. However, its islands is quite remarkable. Moreover,you can travel to Trang by train or air from Bangkok. If you are looking for cultural tourism, you will like Trang.

A fairly quiet town.

A fairly quiet town. A few pleasant Buddhist and Taoist temples. A nice market near the train station. A few restaurants in the area. A park an hour away by tuk-tuk. Otherwise, not much to do. A good stopover between trains and islands, or via the airport.

Trang itself offers little of interest.

Trang itself offers little of interest. However, even during a short stay, a stroll through the botanical garden is highly recommended. It's a 3 km walk through the forest, including approximately 300 meters on suspension bridges in the treetops!

We stayed in a private room which was spacious and had a balcony, it was lovely and the air con worked very well. The location was great, and there were shops and lots of eating places within walking distance. Generally we really loved the hotel space, it was very clean and really nicely decorated. Most of all, we found the owner of the hotel absolutely lovely, she helped us with so much stuff and was always so kind and with a smile on her face. We won’t forget our stay in Trang and at Sleeper House. ☺️

Everything was excellent. Great location, beautiful room, big windows overlooking the garden, friendly and helpful owner who speaks good English, good Internet connection, and (something very rare in Thailand!) very quiet at night. They even let us check in earlier than we were supposed to. This is a good example of how a hotel should be run.

We can highly recommend staying at the BanSoi 1 Hotel. The owner family is very accommodating and friendly. The cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel is exceptional. The ambience is beautiful, the furnishings are stylish. We felt very comfortable here.
