The location is very good. Only less than 10 min walk from the port. Literally above a very modern restaurant/bar with pool table and sky sports and plenty of food options! 30 seconds around the corner there’s a place you can rent a bike 250baht a day. Also for what we paid is very good £35 for 2 nights! I mean the room is nice, has good aircon and a fridge. Staff very friendly, would recommend this place, everything so close, especially shops, foods and beaches!!

Very beautiful room and clean. The staff was very nice. The location of the Hotel was perfect because it was close to the center so you are close to everything. It is a quiet place and it’s worthy if you want to visit Kho Pha-Ngan.

It was very clean. You have good location, its not far from the night market and a lot of bars and restaurants. The pier is about 1km distance. There is a nice pool and you have a balcony in front of your bungalow where you can chill. But the best is the owner of this resort, Juli. Best host i have ever met. He is a cool guy and helps you with everything if you need. He drove us for free to the pier and so on. So i can highly recomment this place

The night life - bars, cafés, markets, and I enjoyed getting a massage after all the walking around. There are many massage parlors and massages are so affordable here. Also, the service at the massage parlors is very good.

If you are looking to do some muay Thai in Koh Phangan, this is a great place to stay as it was a couple of good gyms. There's also a good selection of bars, cafes and restaurants in the area, and it's walking distance from the pier. Since it's quite central, if you hire a scooter it's also a good distance between areas in the south and north.

Beautiful island of Ko Phanghan.

Beautiful island of Ko Phanghan. Thong sala is quiet and busy. Lovely buzzing Pantip market, close to the ferry piers, easy to get around. Beaches are ok and sea is very tidal so no chance to swim here

This hotel is not a party place.

This hotel is not a party place. It is for relaxation and serenity. The town is a 10 to 15 minutes walk. The pier, 7/11, bakery and many bars and restaurants. Tons of scooters which are basically the only mean of transportation if you don’t want to walk. A nice night market open nightly with good food and souvenirs. After being in Koh Samui for over a month as older people we enjoyed Thongsala because of the ease of walking to town. If you like to shop you will find hundreds of typical beach shopping. The town itself is surprisingly quite big. Definitely on top of our list for favorite beach town.

Personally, I didn't really like Thong Sala; it was a busy harbor town with few nice restaurants. However, if you went a bit in the other direction, there were plenty of nice restaurants. For the lovely beaches, you could easily take a scooter and explore the island's many beautiful spots.

The beach isn't the prettiest on the island, but it's good value for money. The town center is close enough for dining and shopping, but far enough away to sleep peacefully and without noise. Just be aware that you can't see the sunset from here.

I only spent one night here (my last night) after arriving from a 3-night stay at Haad Rin for the new year party. I was very happy that I found a room near Thongsala Pier at a reasonable price on 1st January. From Panthip Market it is only a short walk (about 5 minutes), from the city center about 10 minutes walk This Hotel is cozy and quiet, it has a small pool for refreshment and offers coffe/tee in the morning. The owner and the staff are nice and speak good English. The rooms are big and clean.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel – everything was almost perfect. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and overall we really enjoyed our time. The only disappointment was that one of the managers overcharged us 300 Baht for a taxi at the very last moment, after all our luggage was already loaded, which left us with no choice. Aside from that, the experience was great, and it would be even better if the restaurant staff could speak a little more English.

The beach huts were amazing, so comfortable and cool at night. The hotel itself is so beautiful right by the sea, and the breakfast and cocktails were really good. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, they even upgraded us to a beach front hut. Would really recommend this hotel.
