Booked 5 nights but stayed for 7 Also a decent place to base yourself if you want to visit the various caves and beaches in the area. Nick and May are super hosts, they make you feel at home! The breakfast was adapted to are needs and the space for eating and relaxing where super confortable! The room was spacious with your own terrace, they have gym set up and they can take you for paddleboard tour and you can take a bike to go around! The location is perfect with a nice view and it’s close to everything around but in a quiet environment !!! They will help you with all the activities and things to see around like caverns with temple inside and national parks with elephants…

We had a wonderful stay at Lyndale Lodge. Initially we booked for 4 nights but half an hour after we arrived we booked 3 more nights. David made us feel so welcome. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They’ll make sure you can rent a motorbike and give tips about the area, sightseeing and food. Though I recommend you stay for dinner at Lyndale because the cook is absolutely fantastic. The room is spacious, with enough room to store all your luggage away. We even had our own “built in closet”. The pool is nice and big, the ocean is 2 minutes away. If you’re lucky like we were, you’ll get to enjoy the company of the owners friends and laugh and have a beer with them. Overall, this place just radiates the love that is put into it. Since Lyndale has been reopened a couple of months ago, they are still making changes for the better, like building an outside shower to use before you hop into the pool. As a guest it is nice to see that they are thinking about how they can make the guest house even more comfortable. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

We extended our stay twice 😂 and appreciated exploring Pranburi for 15 days. The rooms are nice, beautiful, and comfortable. I had the pleasure of staying at the Cordelia Resort Sam Roi Yot, and it exceeded all of my expectations! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. A special mention goes to Kris, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure that our stay was flawless. His personal touch and attentiveness really made a difference – we felt like VIPs the entire time. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! There was a wide variety of delicious options, from fresh tropical fruits to traditional Thai dishes, all served with a smile. The quality of the food was top-notch, and every morning was a delightful experience. The resort itself is beautifully designed, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The pools and the beach area were perfect for relaxation, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The only small downside was the mattresses, which were quite firm for my preference. While some people may like this, I found them a bit too hard for a truly restful night’s sleep. However, this is a minor issue compared to the overall experience. In summary, Cordelia Resort Sam Roi Yot offers an unforgettable experience with superb service, especially from Kris, and a wonderful breakfast that will start your day off perfectly. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely return in the future!

What an amazing location! We didn't have a car but the owner was happy to supply transport to local caves within the National Park. We stayed 4 nights and ate in their on site restaurant every night as the authentic and varied menu was perfect. The nearby beach is accessible down a quiet country track and it's possible to walk for miles in the sand at Dolphin Bay with a few quiet bars. You must try Mok's Thai breakfast - it is to die for! We tried many others during our trip to Thailand and this was the best by absolutely miles!!!

Arrive at Lungcha homestay in the afternoon. Make a boat trip at sunset (starting point directly in front of the homestay). The lake with thousands of lotus flowers and birds is phantastic. They offer a 150.- baht dinner in Thai style (a bit oily, but good and plenty). Next morning do another sunrise trip: it is very different, because the light is different, there are more birds, the lotus flowers are open, the atmosphere is just magic. Costs 500,- baht for the boat (takes up to four people). Breakfast at Lungcha included and check out. There is not much to do or see near the homestay, perhaps you can stroll to the Ranger IV station in about 20 min, there is a small stripe of beach and access to the lake.

I rented a scooter to visit the park 2 days.

I rented a scooter to visit the park 2 days. The first day I visited the Phraya Nakhon Cave. It was definitely one of the highlights. Even the walk was nice, especially the first climb with nice views over the sea. I arrived before 10:00 in the cave, the perfect time to have the best sunlight. The second day I made a tour around the park (about 120 km) and visited nearly all indicated places: the Sam, Phraya Beach (nothing special), the Khao Daeng with boat tour (nice), Khao Daeng View Point (a difficult and sometimes steep climb, but with a wonderful view), and the Lotus Pound (very nice but not the best season to see the blooming lotus. Returning I took road 1021 where you can have beautiful sunset over the wetlands.

The sandy beach is very pleasant and gives an opportunity to observe/interact with local people involved in various types of fishing. Samroiyod National Park is a must, particularly the Phraya Nakhon Cave with the small shrine inside (trail is steep though, requires a good physical condition). Cheap seafood is available everywhere in the village, by the beach.

A beautiful national park, and there's plenty to do and see nearby. Our goal was Phraya Nakhon Cave, and we also visited Bueng Bua, but if we had more time, there would have been so much more to see and do. It's still nice and quiet in terms of tourists, everything is nice and small, which is great! And just like everywhere in Thailand, the people are incredibly friendly!

The beach is unsuitable for swimming; it's too muddy and slippery, and the walks are too long. The area around the beach in the north generally feels very deserted. However, there are well-developed roads and a promenade where there's nothing. There are a few street restaurants and Thai massage parlors nearby.

Very quiet and convenient hotel, especially if you travel by car or motorcycle, because the parking slot is right in front your room. Not far from the beach. Beautiful garden with a lot flowers and trees. Very nice swimming pool. The room was very spacious including a fully equipped kitchen and the highlight was a nespresso coffee machine. Because we traveled on low season, the delicious breakfast could be chosen a la carte. We definitely will come back to this place.

Great hotel, right on a lovely quiet beach. Perfect location for exploring the national park. The food was spot on.. the cocktails were just epic! Staff were super friendly and happy to help with anything you needed. They had scooter hire and bike hire and were happy to sort transport to our next hotel at the end of our stay… I’d stay again!

Beautiful place to stay and explore Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. The bungalows next to the pond are clean and cozy, with the thin walls and being in the middle of nature it felt like sleeping outside wich I enjoyed. There are good Motorbikes for rent. The owner gave me some recommendations and helped me book my next transportation.
