The room - I thought it was far better than what I saw in the photos. The bed is significantly larger than a king size bed. (Please note there is an adjoining room within a unit building and it might get noisy if the guests in other rooms are loud or vice versa) The staff - Excellent, always greeting you with a smile and helpful when needed. Location - Near to the pier and away from the noise, railay west beach is walkable distance. Diamond cave, lagoon spot, phra nang, rock climbing spots are all accessible, boats to phi phi or snorkeling are all very accessible.. Pool - While pool is modest in size, they have reasonbly enough number of longue chairs to accommodate guests, pool also has a bar. The best part of any experience is making you want to come back again and I think very few places in hospitality industry are able to meet the expectationa of guests. Room service/food: All the dishes that we ordered in were good. Most of all everyone on Railay has been pleasant with all tourists and that makes all the difference.

Perfect location and the beautiful nature makes this hotel top hotel in Thailand. The staff was really-really nice , not just pretending the kindness. The breakfast was superb! We loved.. that there were 2 types of monkeys and monitors lizards and beautiful stuff looking after us so well. The breakfast was amazing everyday. We have never stayed in the better hotel in Thailand. We have been in Krabi railey beach 4 times..but this was so far the best and it exceeded the expectation. Thank you.

Really beautiful area with SO much to explore on foot and by boat. Walking street is amazing. Phra Nang beach is gorgeous but a little busy at times. Tonsai beach is worth the walk to get there. Amazing trip we loved it and would absolutely go back. Do a longtail boat tour private to see some islands, take a climbing lesson!

It is useful to note that there are multiple long boats and piers to access Railay. The safest route is to the east beach from Ao Nammao pier where you can safely park a hire car for a reasonable cost. If you don’t have your own transport, there are various options such as taxis. I ripped a pair of shorts at another pier which is not a great setup.

Railay was one of my favourite locations during our month...

Railay was one of my favourite locations during our month long holiday. We stayed here for 4 nights, I would have stayed longer. I loved the laid back feel of the town, everything is in walking distance.

Beautiful spot for a beach holiday.

Beautiful spot for a beach holiday. The landscape is totally stunning. Railay Beach is very touristy during the day though, since most boats from the mainland arrive on that side of the peninsula. I would recommend to spend some time walking towards the south beach of Phra Nang Beach which is a lot quieter and has some pretty amazing rock formations right in front of it.

The majestic cliffs that meet the water are stunning ! Easy to get get boat to phi phi islands and other islands for a day trip . Great freash grilled daily caught seafood on the walking street . Get up early to enjoy this stunning location without the crowds . It gets too crowded mid day

We had 3 nights here but in truth could have done 2 nights.

We had 3 nights here but in truth could have done 2 nights. The staff are amazing though. We had a wary flight to catch from Krabi. We were quite worried about making it in time, but the hotel provides a boat and a van on the main Island to take you to the airport. This was not only put our minds a peace it’s also ran so smoothly. All in all worth a visit as the scenery is stunning, but we felt 2 nights would have been enough.

Highlight of our trip across Phuket/Krabi/Bangkok. Railay area has super vibe, much better than Phi Phi. Railay beach, kayaking around mogotes, watching hundreds of flying fox bats fly out after sunset, walking around promenade - do recommend. Hotel has perfect location, high standard, def. feels better than 3 stars. Room were clean and spacious, bed is super large and comfy. Breakfast was ok. Tons of food, shop (although small), smoking, massage options minutes from the hotel. Staff was kind and nice. Price to quality 11/10.

We stayed on the West side of the resort a few minutes walk from the swimming pool which overlooked the sea and beach. Perfect for watching the sunset. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with all that we needed including complimentary water and tea and coffee making facilities. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean. The hotel is close to a walkway with lots of bars, shops and restaurants leading to the East side where you can find Bat cave a lovely beach and limestone caves.

Railay Hilltop is more akin to a lodge than anything else. I wouldn’t call it a resort. That said, it functions well if you consider it a lodge rather than a hotel room (this is what you get for going for the cheapest accommodation on the beach). I recommend keeping your aircon on even when leaving the property — this wards off mosquitoes and other annoying critters. Beds are ok and toilets function well. You get the essentials I say.

Railay is beautiful - be aware though, weed is everywhere! It's the Nimbin of Krabi!! Railay Village Resort & Spa is excellent - right on the beach and rooms and pool are lovely. It's a bit of a hike to get to from the pier though!
