We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our hosts were so welcoming and the room was excellent, immaculate with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and the location, right on the river was great.

It was a five minute walk from the centre but SO quiet! Just what we needed, a comfortable bed, a good hot show and plenty of room. The owner was very kind and friendly.

To start with I got here after looking at the reviews. I was warmly welcomed. I loved the stay so beautiful and peaceful. Nongs and her husband are so lovely. Had amazing conversations with them. They were so sweet and kept feeding me local desserts and snacks. The breakfast was amazing and they even gave me bananas and a bottle of water for my bicycle ride ahead. Such lovely people 😁 would definitely visit them again.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel for a month and 4 nights. I used it as a Base to travel and explore Northern Thailand. The location. It is next to the 107 main road that connects Northern Thailand to Chiang Mai. But dont be put off. It's quiet, particularly at night. There is a 7 eleven directly next door and a launderette directly opposite. It is less than a 5 minute drive into the centre of Fang. There is ample parking and the gardens to the rear are beautiful. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. And there are 3 friendly cats to greet you too.There is coffee, toast, fruit juice,water and fruit layed out in the morning and a lovely coffee shop connected to the hotel. The room was a good size and clean. The bed was so comfortable. Air conditioning was perfect. There is a tv and fridge too. The shower was excellent. I have nothing bad to say about this lovely little hotel. I have happy memories here and will definitely be staying again upon my return. Thankyou for making my stay perfect.

Truly a hidden gem I am very pleased to have found Gumbie House and trusted the excellent reviews here which are thoroughly deserved! Wonderful hospitality, a cosy home away from home feel to the room, beautiful gardens and views over the surrounding countryside, exceptional food... If you have also found Gumbie House and are reading through these reviews just book it and you will not be disappointed - and stay for more than one night if you have time. It really is a beautiful place and experience to stay here.
