Irene is one of the most stunning resorts I’ve stayed at. The architectural design is gorgeous, the sand pool villa has tall ceilings and is super spacious. The bed is huge directly facing the pool and sunrise beach. Perfect villa for watching the sunrise from the comfort of bed.
This is my second time here and the food keeps getting better. I love love this villa and all the staff are so sweet.

Stayed 2 nights but would’ve liked 3 or 4 as it was a relaxing place to sunbathe and swim. It’s a small island so would’ve been nice to explore and maybe find some empty beaches.
The massage at the hotel on the beach was very good.
Travelled by Tigerline Ferries from Krabi (small speedboats) via Koh Lanta. Took 6.5 hours in total so a very long day and would choose a different route next time.

Koh Lipe is the best place in Thailand I have been so far.
Little, which mean you can walk everywhere, relaxing but if you want to party you can.
The beaches are beautiful, the people that live in the island amazing, food is great.
Nothing else to say.

Absolutely lovely. Definitely coming back again.
Absolutely lovely. Definitely coming back again. This island is a true paradise. Quite a long way to get to but worth it when you’re there. Sunset beach gives you little coves surrounded by rocks, great snorkeling and kayaking, beautiful sunsets and a quiet laidback atmosphere. Sunrise beach offer more open beaches free of rocks and plenty of white sand. It is busier and more crowded but still offering beautiful crystal clear waters.
Ko Lipe caters for all crowds really and yet it retains that small paradise island vibe that enables you to switch off and truly rest. All locals are incredibly friendly and polite. They are genuinely hospitable and caring. Very easy to get around the island as you can walk everywhere. Should you need a taxi, there are plenty and no matter where you’re going you pay thb50. Food wise there’s plenty of choice for both Thai or western food. If you’re vegetarian or vegan you also will have plenty of options. The hotels offer catering choices at reasonable prices. There are some tours to go on should you feel that way inclined. I honestly can recommend it enough.

Long tale boats are invading the beach and dirtying the water and damaging the coral reefs
It was so hard to swim somewhere clean and without a boat
There are no rubbish bins in the beach, lots of rubbish everywhere
Incredible little island suffering from resorts, long tale boats and plastic consumption and reckless humans
I feel so sorry for the little incredible ko lipe, I hope they will protect the island and save it

Thai paradise. But already very touristic.
Thai paradise. But already very touristic. If you are not a fan of snorkeling/diving, nothing much more to do. But generally nice views, snorkel trips, excellent clear sea and rhe white sand. And the food!

So much busier than we thought it would be.
So much busier than we thought it would be. Very noisy with the boats. The pattaya beach completely ruined because of the boats. Sunset beach is pretty and quieter but take mosquito spray, there are clouds of them wanting your blood. The general feel of the island was that we were tolerated because we spend money. Not a friendly island at all.
I spent 200baht in Wave supermarket afterwards I asked for a plastic cup and they wanted to charge 1 baht, I really wished I'd given 500 and waited for the change.
On the plus side great snorkeling away from the boats.
Sanom Beach Resort across the rickety bridge is well worth a visit, 400 baht for 2 comfy beanbags on the incredible beach, food great and not expensive, definitely worth a visit, best place on the island.
Great location on sunrise beach, which is the best beach in Koh Lipe. The hotel arranged a snorkel trip for us and transport to get off the island. Both at fair prices and was perfectly organized.
The staff was exceptionally friendly. I got sick during the night and we had to call an emergency number of the hotel. A staff member quickly came over to the hotel and made sure I was taken to the doctor immediately. She stayed with us the whole time. We were very thankful she was with us and able to help out in the middle of the night.
The location is fantastic, right on the beach. It has a great restaurant with lots of seating you can sit in to read all day. The beach is beautiful to walk and swim on and close to other restaurants and hotels, but honestly, the best food and drinks were at our resort, super delicious food and cocktails! The staff were wonderful as well!! We rented kayaks next door since the free kayak at the hotel was taken when we wanted to go out and snorkeled further down the beach. Everything was very accessible.
The owner is a super friendly enthusiastic guy from Barcelona who will try and help you in any way he can! The location of the hostel is really good (don't follow your Google Maps though, it took me somewhere else, just go to the 7-Eleven at the end of walking street, it's right above it). There is a fridge, microwave and kettle and you'll get a towel on arrival. Maybe some cups and cutlery would be nice for the future. There are also brand new lockers that work with a code.
Actual house was similar to what was shown in pictures. Host reached out to me prior regarding my arrival details. Water taxi service was provided to and from the jetty. Great location at a quieter part of Sunrise Beach. Towels were nicely decorated when we arrived. Bedding provided were clean and hotel standard. Ensuite toilet in every bedroom; clean and working well. Host provided us some fruits as well. Value for money compared to other beachfront properties in the area.
The room was very nice and spacious. The location and beach were wonderful. Breakfast in the morning had a wide selection, lots of tasty fruits, and good coffee. It was nice that the shuttle greeted us and helped bring our luggage to the hotel. And the same to check out from the hotel - the staff helped bring the luggage down to the shuttle. In the evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, there is complimentary transportation from the hotel to Walking Street.
The location was perfect - the resort occupies a great spot at the end of sunrise beach, from which it’s possible to paddle board, snorkel and grab a beachside Thai massage, or to just enjoy happy hour drinks. Easy walk over to Sunset beach via Walking Street. The room was modern and spacious rooms, very comfortable - nice to spend time on the balcony. Surprisingly good water pressure in the shower! I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
The tranquility of our stay and had it's own private beach and free kayaks available.
They also have a transfer service from and to the Pier or any other hotel you are transferring to.
Food were excellent.
A plus is that you get to see the sunset while having dinner.
Staff were so nice and helpful especially Charles did everything asked of such as upgrade to a jacuzzi room with ocean view.
The room was very spacious and comfortable.
Though Ko Lipe is not big, the hotel has a really convenient location and everything was within a walking distance.
The owner is very friendly. one time he was nice enough to serve us breakfast after the time it was served.
we would definitely stay here if we are lucky enough to go to Ko Lipe again.
comfortable and chic with great food, the castaway resort koh lipe was a great introduction to Thai island culture.
no Wi-Fi in the rooms allowed our family to disconnect and relax.
lots of nearby options for snorkeling and island hopping.
clear water, when there was room in between the longtails there was great swimming
Beautiful resort! There are two pools, the pool uphill has a beautiful view of the ocean. They have their own beach beds and a restaurant with really good food (I recommend the green curry). The beach in front is stunning. It’s a 7 minute walk on the beach to walking street. Staff is lovely!!!
Beautiful luxury resort right on the beach with amazing pools and the kindest staff! Our room was very big, comfortable, modern and cleaned daily. The breakfast is the best we've ever had in a resort- so much choice and very high quality. We would love to visit Ananya again, highly recommend!
thought location is just near to the beach, but there were boats parking block the view and sea to play! it can blame the both driver since they came before hotel established. the gust must rethink either staying front beach hotel to support the business and your own wants..
Very beautiful room (we were in the room 18, with private pool), swimming pool and sea view. We feel like we are alone even if there are rooms near (there are trees between the rooms).
Excellent breakfast (especially the pastries basket)
Good service,
Awesome hotel right on the best sunrise view 🏖️ beach
Traditional Balinese-style villas occupy the peaceful southern end of Sunrise Beach.
coffee and tea are freely available in the restaurant
Staff very friendly and room wa spacious.
it’s beautiful resort at Sunrise beach. room is so big and beautiful, bed is really comfortable, staffs always smile. breakfast was simple but all u need, location is close stores and restaurants. I had good and relax stay there.
