We had a wonderful stay at The Simple. The host is very kind and helpful and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Shower is also really nice. They offer free shampoo, shower gel and conditioner which is great. The location is very close to the centre, where you can find streetfood, restaurants and even a 7-eleven!

Amazing place, I did not want to leave. The staff is amazing from Matt who runs the rooms, to Steve who has the bar and restaurant, to Liz who has the gym. The ambience is spectacular, very nice pool, very nice people, very nice mood, and very nice environment to work out! They convinced me to train Muay Thai, I advice everybody to do it there, the people are nice and nobody wants to hurt or get hurt. I advise it to everyone from families to solo travellers!!

This place is amazing. Very unique. The bungalows are comfortable and very beautiful. Good bathrooms, big beds, very nice terrace. Yes, there's no aircon, but there's a fan and it's enough. There's only cold water in the shower. But it wasn't a problem for us. The breakfast was tasty, the stuff was friendly and helpful.

The island is fairly small, with good road infrastructure that can take you around any point. People were friendly and calm in general. Lots of things to do around, easy to get to Ko Yao Yai even with your scooter and explore the island, probably need another full day there or more. We recommend it strongly to everyone who wants to spend a quiet week in Thailand on a affordable price.

We went in May with a group of friends and found it a low key and relaxing island. Beautiful beaches and a few places to explore. I think scooter hire is a must-have to be able to get around...that was a highlight for us just cruising around the island! The hike to the 'big tree' was way harder than expected but the gorgeous secluded beach at the end made it worth it. In low season it seems like at least half the restaurants and shops are closed so you can't rely on google to tell you where to go, sometimes you just have to drive around and see what's open.

If you want peace and quiet and seclusion, this is the place! Be aware that you are there to relax and will be paying higher prices for items such as food an drink. It makes sense as they have to ship everything in. That being said, everything is made with care and delicious! They do have two happy hours from 5-6 and 9-10 on the beach. Lots of honeymooners! I went with my two adult sons, it was a stop in between Krabi and Phuket and it was perfect to get away from the crazy and chill. Take their boat transfer too!

Amazing. Don't hesitate - just go! We are not party or shopping people and so this island was perfect - quiet, calm, local vibe, easy to explore by scooter, beautiful natural beaches that are so lovely to swim in. Friendly warm locals and wonderful littles restaurants and cafes throughout the whole island.

This is what I would call a quiet island.

This is what I would call a quiet island. Great for a family or a small group. Views from the island were great, with the 'james bond' type islands in the distance. We also saw hornbills. A good place to relax and idle in the subshine.

Ko Yao Noi is a tranquil island a short ferry ride but...

Ko Yao Noi is a tranquil island a short ferry ride but another world from Phuket. The islanders want to keep the island low-key. There are a few nice restaurants and bars. It’s easy to take long tail boat rides to neighbouring islands.

It was our best place in thailand. Very safe and clean and very nice staff (with good english). they helped us with any questions. Next to the place is the garden café with breakfast and good tips for exploring the island. The owner organised us a trip with locals to beautiful islands. There is also a shop that rents bicycles. For us this was the best way to travel the island. The company, that owns this place also has a resort with a private beach that we were allowed to use. We really miss this place.

I liked Cape Kudu resort because it is a small, cosy, high quality resort that had everything I want in a resort without being fussy. Cape Kudu was perfectly in sync with the atmosphere of the island. Ko Yao Noi is a lovely, small, picturesque island that has not been spoilt; Thailand as it was 30 years ago - small villages, rice paddies, country roads and lots of greenery.

George and Ryan, the managers treat us very well. very personalized service, help us to find activities in the island and help us with any kind of requests. Don't expect a super luxury resort, but the rooms were great and cleans. Breakfast and food very good as well. felt like travel in other ages. Very human.
