Staying at Cape Kudu was the perfect ending to our Thailand vacation. We arrived with speedboat from Bang Rong pier on Phuket, 400 baht/person, and the trip lasted about 45min. When we arrived to the pier, we were pleased to notice that Cape Kudu has a private waiting lounge. When we arrived to the island, the taxis (tuktuks) were already waiting for us (100 baht/person). Arriving to Cape Kudu, we were warmly welcomed by friendly staff. The room with seaview was beautiful, with breathtaking view. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The balcony was also really nice, private, with comfortable furniture and fan. The pool area was nicely arranged, the ''adults only'' swimming pool being a great addition, and with enough sunbeds for everyone. The breakfasts were to die for, with a large selection of delicious, freshly prepared food for every taste (eggs, thai dishes, fruits, waffles and pancakes etc.). The compliments for their food and drinks also go to the hotel bar and restaurant. Cape Kudu also offers several activities. We decided to go on 4-island private long-tailed boat trip, which was the highlight of our stay - we snorkled, went up to the viewpoint of Koh Hong and saw beautiful beaches all without the masses of other tourists. We would really reccommend this trip to everyone staying at Cape Kudu! We would also like to say thank you once again to the lovely staff at Cape Kudu - they were always helpful, so friendly, even offering a staff-guests meeting with snacks where we could talk to them 1 on 1, telling them firsthand about our experiences at the hotel. Overall, we recommend this hotel to everyone who just wants to relax and enjoy in pure nature.

A small luxry hotel , they treated like we were kings. They have i think only 9 rooms in thw hotel . The location is not so good , a beat far from the centre of the village. But YOU must rent a bike to see the beaty of the island

The Simple is like is name : simple. It's clean, well located, staff is kind and helpful. The room are a little dark but clean, comfortable and fresh. Of course there nicer and better places but considering the rates it's a really good value hotel. I recommend.

This place was amazing to stay - great staff, pool, very close to everything and a nice place to socialise. There is a Muay Thai gym attached to it and I highly recommend doing a class! The room overlooked the pool and was only a few feet way from the beach.

I had such a nice time there! If you want to have a chill time, close to the beach with an amazing host, that's the place to be. Marina was super friendly and helpful with everything. She even organized a bbq for Christmas, that was so sweet! You can walk a few min to the beach but you can also rent a scooter from her to discover the island. The atmosphere at the hostel is very chill and relaxing and you're close to some bars where you can enjoy the sunset. I'll definitely come again, thanks so much for everything, Marina :)

This place truly embodies its name, offering a rustic and authentic experience. The hosts are incredibly kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I felt immediately safe, welcome, and right at home. The food was exceptional. In fact, it was one of the two best meals I had in all of Thailand. The owner's cooking is fantastic, and the dinner itself was more than just a meal – it was a chance to share experiences with other guests and engage in unforgettable conversations (I learned a lot about monkeys!). The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. You can conveniently rent a scooter on-site at a reasonable price. The owner also holds a license to sell cannabis, allowing you to purchase and enjoy it on the property. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a place with soul and a truly unique experience.

We were there for a 7-day course and stayed for 10 nights, and we extended another night because it was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, nature-filled space to rest and explore the island. Every day we woke up to hornbills, buffalo, tokay, and many other animals - including an adorable cat! The hosts were super warm and friendly, always there to help and ask if there's anything else we needed during our stay. Pak Daud and his family were super hospitable. The balcony is huge, overlooking the paddy field – nice to hang out and listen to nature or do yoga (bring your own mat or hammock, you won't regret it).

We went in May with a group of friends and found it a low...

We went in May with a group of friends and found it a low key and relaxing island. Beautiful beaches and a few places to explore. I think scooter hire is a must-have to be able to get around...that was a highlight for us just cruising around the island! The hike to the 'big tree' was way harder than expected but the gorgeous secluded beach at the end made it worth it. In low season it seems like at least half the restaurants and shops are closed so you can't rely on google to tell you where to go, sometimes you just have to drive around and see what's open.

If you want peace and quiet and seclusion, this is the place! Be aware that you are there to relax and will be paying higher prices for items such as food an drink. It makes sense as they have to ship everything in. That being said, everything is made with care and delicious! They do have two happy hours from 5-6 and 9-10 on the beach. Lots of honeymooners! I went with my two adult sons, it was a stop in between Krabi and Phuket and it was perfect to get away from the crazy and chill. Take their boat transfer too!

Amazing. Don't hesitate - just go! We are not party or shopping people and so this island was perfect - quiet, calm, local vibe, easy to explore by scooter, beautiful natural beaches that are so lovely to swim in. Friendly warm locals and wonderful littles restaurants and cafes throughout the whole island.

This is what I would call a quiet island.

This is what I would call a quiet island. Great for a family or a small group. Views from the island were great, with the 'james bond' type islands in the distance. We also saw hornbills. A good place to relax and idle in the subshine.

Ko Yao Noi is a tranquil island a short ferry ride but another world from Phuket. The islanders want to keep the island low-key. There are a few nice restaurants and bars. It’s easy to take long tail boat rides to neighbouring islands.

Local people are very nice and always kind. Seafood is very fresh, Recommend is " Koh Yao Tha Ton Do Seafood" Chef is very nice, she cooked like homemade and food is so fresh. Beach on this island is not ok for people who wanna play and swim on the sea, need to take boat to the other island better. Public transportation on this island quite expensive,100 B/round /place, fit for people can ride motorbike is better. 300 B / 24hrs. saver.

We loved it here! It has a very homely feel, the staff are really kind and made us feel so welcome. They even sent our phone charger that we left onto our next hotel for us. Good food at affordable prices. Great location surrounded by nature, really peaceful, close to a great beach, restaurants and a shop. The view is just gorgeous. They rent out good quality scooters with helmets for 200b per day, so you can explore the island and it's beaches. Bungalows are basic but have everything you need and more! Not a luxury resort.

Stunning location overlooking Phang Nga Bay. The views of the limestone islands were superb. The beach in front is great for swimming, just not classical , but you can easily walk to others with more sand frontage. Great neighbourhood for walking, lots of different eating places right on the beach. Hired scooters from hotel and toured the island, Breakfast at the resort is great. Staff friendly and very good swimming pool. Boat trip by speedboat was easy from Phuket and then went on to Railay.

We stayed in a fan bungalow right by the beach - amazing value for money. The room was clean and serviced every two days, with water restocked (2 per person per day). The restaurant at the hotel was great, and there were a few bars and restaurants within walking distance. The staff were lovely and helpful, and renting a scooter to explore the island was super easy.

George and Ryan, the managers treat us very well. very personalized service, help us to find activities in the island and help us with any kind of requests. Don't expect a super luxury resort, but the rooms were great and cleans. Breakfast and food very good as well. felt like travel in other ages. Very human.

Amazing hotel on a smaller and less touristy island. We had everything we needed at Cape Kudu and staff were very friendly although sometimes there was a bit of a language barrier. Breakfast by the pool area was wonderful and we enjoyed how spacious and nicely designed our rooms were.
