This place was amazing to stay - great staff, pool, very close to everything and a nice place to socialise. There is a Muay Thai gym attached to it and I highly recommend doing a class! The room overlooked the pool and was only a few feet way from the beach.

My stay at this stilt house was nothing short of perfect. It offered a unique, authentic and deeply relaxing experience that I will remember for a long time. The accommodation itself was fantastic. The house is spacious, very well designed and features a wonderful balcony. The view from there was a daily spectacle -overlooking a pond with crabs and fish. Watching the crab life from my own balcony was a uniquely peaceful and fascinating activity. The location is exceptional for those seeking authenticity. It's set in a local fishing village that feels incredibly genuine and untouched by mass tourism. The true heart of this place, however, are the owners. They are very positive, kind and helpful. Owners offer a range of services, including renting a scooter at a very attractive price (highly recommended for exploring the island, especially if you want to reach to the best beaches of the island) and organizing tours or transport. The communication on site and via whatsapp was very smooth. Do not miss ordering meals here! The food prepared by the owner is absolutely delicious, generous and offers great value. Sharing meal is also a chance to spend time with the wonderful hosts, learn more about the area and feel truly welcomed. The property has several adorable resident cats, the common areas are clean and well kept. Dining area has a great vibe, there you can prepare free coffee/tea. In summary, this is a charming, special place run by brilliant hosts. It offers a perfect blend of comfortable accommodation, authentic location, delicious food and local insight. My highest possible recommendation. It’s a must stay for an authentic and heartwarming experience.

Beautiful and luxurious houses overlooking rice fields and nature in tranquil setting. A bit hidden but that is part of the charm. Our expectations were exceeded and it was a joy staying here. Palm trees and beautiful nature all around the house and it was a joy just looking outside the window or sitting on the spacious terrace. Fabulous place and we would definitely be happy to come back here, if we ever come to Koh Yao Noi again.

It’s a wonderful place on this island, the localization is nice in the garden, near to the beach (10 minutes walking). Maitree and his wife are very kind people, helpfulness and their kitchen is local, with their garden products! The little swimming pool is very nice after a sunny day. We went in May with a group of friends and found it a low key and relaxing island. Beautiful beaches and a few places to explore. I think scooter hire is a must-have to be able to get around...that was a highlight for us just cruising around the island! The hike to the 'big tree' was way harder than expected but the gorgeous secluded beach at the end made it worth it. In low season it seems like at least half the restaurants and shops are closed so you can't rely on google to tell you where to go, sometimes you just have to drive around and see what's open.

If you want peace and quiet and seclusion, this is the place! Be aware that you are there to relax and will be paying higher prices for items such as food an drink. It makes sense as they have to ship everything in. That being said, everything is made with care and delicious! They do have two happy hours from 5-6 and 9-10 on the beach. Lots of honeymooners! I went with my two adult sons, it was a stop in between Krabi and Phuket and it was perfect to get away from the crazy and chill. Take their boat transfer too!

Amazing. Don't hesitate - just go! We are not party or shopping people and so this island was perfect - quiet, calm, local vibe, easy to explore by scooter, beautiful natural beaches that are so lovely to swim in. Friendly warm locals and wonderful littles restaurants and cafes throughout the whole island.

This is what I would call a quiet island.

This is what I would call a quiet island. Great for a family or a small group. Views from the island were great, with the 'james bond' type islands in the distance. We also saw hornbills. A good place to relax and idle in the subshine.

Ko Yao Noi is a tranquil island a short ferry ride but another world from Phuket. The islanders want to keep the island low-key. There are a few nice restaurants and bars. It’s easy to take long tail boat rides to neighbouring islands.

Local people are very nice and always kind. Seafood is very fresh, Recommend is " Koh Yao Tha Ton Do Seafood" Chef is very nice, she cooked like homemade and food is so fresh. Beach on this island is not ok for people who wanna play and swim on the sea, need to take boat to the other island better. Public transportation on this island quite expensive,100 B/round /place, fit for people can ride motorbike is better. 300 B / 24hrs. saver.

Outstanding secluded resort with a private beach. This place truly is paradise. I stayed in a bungalow with a plunge pool absolutely amazing. Resort is located near some awesome scenery and the grounds of the resort are spectacular also. Day trips to other islands are organised by the resort and were a truly amazing experience. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. I could have stayed longer. Something to bear in mind is the resort is quite secluded and this may put some people off but for me this was exactly what I was after. Amazing place.

We had such a relaxing stay at Suntisook, we wanted to book for longer but could only have the room for three days. We would have stayed here for a whole week if we could have! The staff were very helpful and friendly, you can rent bikes (moped and bicycles) and it’s close to a pier where you can get a long tail to the Hong islands, which we did one day and was a highlight of our trip! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet romantic spot on Koh Yao Noi

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. It was a lovely peaceful environment with gorgeous gardens. Bars and restaurants just a walk away. However to discover more of the island you do need a scooter which is available to hire from the hotel. Rooms are cleaned every three days but if you need clean towels or anything else you just have to ask. Would highly recommend!

Sam Sam is a superb resort on a great island. The suite we were in was huge with very high ceiling and very comfortable beds. The staff was super helpful, arranging complimentary pick up from the pier and transfer to our next hotel. We could use free bikes to cycle around the island and rent motorbikes too. We wish we had stayed for longer!
