I enjoyed my stay very much with Olivier and his lovely wife. The breakfast is a must, it is very healthy and super tasty, and one of the best coffees on the island. Overall one of the best locations, to the beach is only 300 meter and the 7 Eleven and bars are just some minutes by foot. The rooms were super clean and had everything the traveller desires, also good for families, I felt super safe there with Olivier and his staff.

The decor/ambiance was unparalleled, from the statuary to the koi pond, the garden like setting was absolutely idyllic. The owner, Maarten, along with the staff, were so helpful, warm, and welcoming. I felt like I was returning rather than visiting for the first time.

Such a lovely place. We had five nights here and could easily have spent a few more. The hotel is located right at the beach with many restaurants and bars. Also the hotel has its own phenomenal restaurant and bar. Would recommend everybody to go here :-)

perfect place! Quite spacious bungalows. There is everything you need inside. fast internet, kettle, large refrigerator. Normal sized tea cups. The owner of the hotel is a wonderful person! Helps from the heart. There are no insects in the room if the food is in the refrigerator. good quality bed linen. The bed is flat, comfortable, not much harder than usual. You can rent a bike here. Nearby is the territory of a national park and a waterfall there, where tourists are often taken.

Beautiful location, overlooking the water, Peaceful swimming was lovely but be aware no sand, only rocks, so entry can be tricky but worth it. Staff were excellent, as was the owner, were always available to assist. If you are in this vicinity do visit Everflow cafe - wonderful food and juices

everything was close to perfect Nice location (particularly our house was second from the beach) 1 min walk, tasty breakfast with various dishes (but I’ve noticed cheese is a rare thing there, maybe it’s for all Thailand) friendly stuff ready to help prolongateur our check out for free by 14:00. clean and large room, daily cleaning, towels change etc

Very friendly staff. Rented motorbike without a problem, exchanged money also with very good rate. Clean environment. But we were super happy that a guy at the reception was speaking good english so helped a lot.

Sylvan is vertical resort and beautiful. They do a great job helping you get around. Expensive but you get your moneys worth. Great staff, great views, Santhiya Tree was impressive but probably looked really nice 8 years ago. Over priced, hard to find. No sign to long entrance road. Restaurant named Apple Kitchen at entrance was great and very inexpensive. I’m 80 and my wife is 83. They gave us the top floor with no elevator. Steps are uneven in height so be careful. A real workout. Breaks my heart to see the wood rotting from neglect. Next resort is Lagoon Prince. Stayed here many times. Old resort, good value, closer to ferry. White Sand Beach is great at night. Food up the beach at Soul & Sand is excellent. Every resort on the beach has a good vibe. From high end to very economy.

Ko chang is a hidden jewel, lots to do and see with other amazing islands to visit. Worth 4 nights stay on anyones itenary. Good viewpoints beaches and bars, much more laid back than pattaya but still things to do. We ve enjoyed the island and would come again

Ko Chang has no real central beach and on those beaches, there is no real central area; it's a bunch of hotel along the road. Nothing like Koh Samui. The beaches are very far apart and Lonely Beach is pretty run down, so choose wisely.

We hired bicycles for 100 baht near Centara and we could cycle to the waterfall and to visit some other beaches. It is not cheap to get around, 6km was 150 each so 300 baht for 2. We stayed at Bailan beach hotel which was nice and small and intimate with a few other restaurants nearby. We walked about 1km north and south of Bailan beach but the roads are not so safe for walking there. Near Centara the roads are wider with a cycle path.

I've been to kie bae, koh chang many times since 2006 and...

I've been to kie bae, koh chang many times since 2006 and enjoyed most of the time . This time however I would give it 3 out of 10. Apart from it been too commercialised, it is very dirty. Hope it gets cleaner for the future.

Koh Chang is a lovely island for holiday.

Koh Chang is a lovely island for holiday. Roads are trecherous to drive, but the views are stunning. Beachfront resort with a nice pool, you have all you need! Some wonderful seafood buffets to uncover and a visit to one of the elephant camps will satisfy your urge to explore.

I'd love to actually be able to leave a fair review but as on arrival I was told they were full despite my booking being made some 6/8 weeks in advance, I was then dumped in a nasty hotel a little further down the road, my request for a refund was refused by the ladies at the hotel who told me I'd have to walk back up the road in 85 degrees heat, so I sorted myself out elsewhere. One to avoid in the future if they can't honour a booking made well in advance.

This hotel is perfectly positioned, with beautiful views of the sea. The surrounding gardens are well maintained. The pool is a welcome if you do not like sea swimming. The breakfast is top class, with eggs made to order, a wide selection of fresh fruit and juices, and different tastes of Thailand everyday. Sam, the owner, is always on hand to welcome, advise and make sure your stay is comfortable.

I had a very good stay at Cookies Hotel near White Sand Beach. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area is also relaxing. Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you want convenience and a peaceful atmosphere.

Very nice, cozy hotel with lovely people and everything we need it. Comfy and clean rooms. Nice pool. Great breakfast with italian coffee. Motorbikes for rent on spot, to explore the island and few min drive you get to white sand beach. The best part is Nicola the owner, very kind and nice person.

I come to this hotel often. It is great every time. Love the beach front villa. And the staff is super helpful and friendly all the time. Worth mentioning the lady from the ticket booking office and the Rumanian very cool and kind guy from the front desk. Can’t wait to be back in October
