I loved the puppy that invited you he is the cutest dog ever!! The place is great, clean and has all the facilities you need for island life. Nice and quiet. The hammock was a plus. Good location as well, enough away from the noise but close enough to walk to shops/restaurants. Owners are lovely as well.

The room+balcony are very clean. We can see the sunset and panorama view from the room or rooftop swimming pool or beach chair. The place is calm and quiet, very relaxing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also very good. The location is a bit private but easy to have food and get to 7-11. Parking car and motorbike are available and safe. Thank you for making my perfect holiday. (Some rooms are access by stairs. The room detail has shown this info. But stairs are no problem for us).

Hotel is lovely. Its location is perfect. Direct access to Beach. Good choice of restaurants ask though the hotel restaurant has a varied menu, the food is excellent and you can dine on the beach as you watch the sunset. Breakfast selection was excellent. The staff are very welcoming whilst having the upmost professionalism. Taxi / ferry combo can be arranged by the hotel at the same rate as other options.

Sylvan is vertical resort and beautiful. They do a great job helping you get around. Expensive but you get your moneys worth. Great staff, great views, Santhiya Tree was impressive but probably looked really nice 8 years ago. Over priced, hard to find. No sign to long entrance road. Restaurant named Apple Kitchen at entrance was great and very inexpensive. I’m 80 and my wife is 83. They gave us the top floor with no elevator. Steps are uneven in height so be careful. A real workout. Breaks my heart to see the wood rotting from neglect. Next resort is Lagoon Prince. Stayed here many times. Old resort, good value, closer to ferry. White Sand Beach is great at night. Food up the beach at Soul & Sand is excellent. Every resort on the beach has a good vibe. From high end to very economy.

Ko chang is a hidden jewel, lots to do and see with other amazing islands to visit. Worth 4 nights stay on anyones itenary. Good viewpoints beaches and bars, much more laid back than pattaya but still things to do. We ve enjoyed the island and would come again

Ko Chang has no real central beach and on those beaches, there is no real central area; it's a bunch of hotel along the road. Nothing like Koh Samui. The beaches are very far apart and Lonely Beach is pretty run down, so choose wisely.

We hired bicycles for 100 baht near Centara and we could cycle to the waterfall and to visit some other beaches. It is not cheap to get around, 6km was 150 each so 300 baht for 2. We stayed at Bailan beach hotel which was nice and small and intimate with a few other restaurants nearby. We walked about 1km north and south of Bailan beach but the roads are not so safe for walking there. Near Centara the roads are wider with a cycle path.

I've been to kie bae, koh chang many times since 2006 and enjoyed most of the time . This time however I would give it 3 out of 10. Apart from it been too commercialised, it is very dirty. Hope it gets cleaner for the future.

The best value of my staying 4 hotels on koh Chang. More than my expectation. Beautiful white sand beach and mild sea water for swimming. Stunning viewpoint, warm and friendly staffs. They hang 2 bottles of water everyday on my door. Beside, very good Thai and the western style breakfast buffet included the price of room. The elevator is very convenient for the seniors with big luggage. Everything is good. More than my expectation.

The hotel is perfect for the family vacation - they have rather big rooms, some children activities. The beach is very slow going into water, and there is no currents, so it's very safe for children. Breakfasts are really awesome - even picky child can find some food for self. We were there during a jellyfish period in Thailand, and we didn't see any single one at that corner of ocean.

The staff and facilities are great. Overall, the entire resort is clean, and the location is perfect. We stayed in a family pool villa, and the rooms are super spacious and clean. We were amazed by the size of the private pool, which is bigger than other places we have been to. Breakfast selection has many options. The water park across the hotel is well organised and very pleasant.
