Love the style of this place! If you want to soak up the culture of the city at an affordable price this is the place to choose, I was almost put off booking the place due to some reviews about the breakfast not being adequate, but honestly it's one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in Thailand and I've been living here over 6 years ! 😄They literally give you a menu and you can order whatever you like, plenty of options and all very delicious, Vietnamese/ Thai style plus there is an option for American breakfast for those that want it too! Very central lovely place! Comfortable room , will stay again for sure!

Located in the North East, it is a gorgeous burgeoning city that while decent sized, doesn't feel too big like Bangkok. The warmth of the Isaan people is palpable. Plenty of rural traveling there & a few outstanding gold courses.

The terrace on 8 floor, big enough with 3 tables, 12 chairs and overlooking the lake and park, very nice, which is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The gym is next to the terrace! The Central Plaza mall is 15 minutes taxi ride. The mall is very nice with 5 floors, got most of things you need, my favorite of the mall is Food Park on the 4th floor, anything you want to eat and very good, very affordable if you are Westerners, very spacious sitting areas. The restrooms are very clean, plenty, easy to locate.

I liked Khon Kaen because I felt it was a pleasant Thai town...

I liked Khon Kaen because I felt it was a pleasant Thai town in the provinces. When I travel, I tend to like typical or second-tier towns more than towns that are more famous and attract lots of tourists. I enjoyed eating at the night market. I am interested in the typical food that typical Thais enjoy. People were friendly toward me, perhaps because I appreciate the local cuisine and the atmosphere of their town.

We were travelling into Laos, so decided to stay in Khon Kaen. The best area for tourists is the walk along the side of the river which is quite nice, there are a few bars and restaurants for tourists there but that's about all we found.

Both hustle and bustle and relaxing in one place. Good food markets, temple, lakes, parks. Probably best to get around on scooter/bike. Local people friendly and helpful. Local airport with short flight to Bangkok.

Khon Kaen is a very busy and crowded city.

Khon Kaen is a very busy and crowded city. They desperately need to install traffic lights at many of the intersections. I've never been in a city of this size where they did not have traffic lights at busy intersections. With that said, I stayed at a hotel near the Bueng Kaen Nakhon Reservoir and it is a great place to walk in the evenings. Also, there are many great places to eat with a wide variety of food to choose from.

I loved the whole experience. I can’t say enough about the staff. Helpful, friendly and polite. It seems as though they couldn’t do enough for you. The buffet breakfast was excellent and great value for money. The location was fairly central and an easy walk to the Central Festival shopping mall. I think the beds could do with an upgrade. Mine was a single. I found it hard and sagged in the middle and felt a little lumpy. It wasn’t horrible mind you but for that luxury feel that the Pullman experience delivers, the beds need looking at

I reach the Hotel with taxi from Airport at 200 THB. Easy Check in and payment. I find the room clean and enough large, with all amenites working it like some the toilet. Downstairs can find restaurant Sorrento, and for breakfast there is Cafè Amazon or in the left side a Coffe bar. Recommended visit at Hidden Cafè opposite the hotel, just only to entry in the closed street for 100 mt. The receptionist can call Taxi Grab for airport at140 THB. The trip is 15 minute.

Pretty hotel! We just wanted a hotel break where we stayed by the pool all weekend. The five restaurants in the hotel meant that we could do that without getting bored. The dimsum buffet is especially fantastic. The massage at the spa was great. The room was a decent size, comfy beds, view of the city. The pool had some bouncy castle toys which was fun. The in house shampoo and conditioner were such good quality I ended up ordering myself some.

The ease in which Booking.com allowed us to make a reservation in Thailand instantly for a family member travelling in Thailand for that evening when we are in the UK and then The Hop Inn replying to us immediately with the answer to a special request. The Hop Inn were expecting there guest extremely late and welcomed him with Parking be no problem. Excellent
