We had a wonderful stay at this small, clean, and newly built resort. It’s run by an amazing and incredibly friendly family who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their communication was excellent, and they helped us book all of our tours in advance, which made our trip so much easier. The location is also perfect—just a short 10 mins walk from the main street, yet still quiet and relaxing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This one is definitely a hidden place! I don't know where to start. The family is so friendly and welcoming. They took a lot of time to show us the area, explain the culture and spent time with us. In the evening they would even play card or board games with our children. They do have a large cave on their property which you can discover with them. That's pretty awesome. My children now believe that Batman lives in Thailand. All typical trips around the jungle and the lake can easily be organized. No need to worry that this might be complicated. The food was also very delicious, the family cooked for us and gave recommendations what to try to dive into the Thai eating culture. For the children there was enough western food to make it easy going for them also. There is plenty of entertainment on their property also: feeding large fish, searching shrimps, playing in the small natural pool, running around in the garden, searching frogs and playing games. To round this up, the hotel is very silent, no other tourists around as the hotel is the only one in the area and has three tiny houses only which is very relaxing.

Tranquil and peaceful. We had a relaxing few days spent here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a day trip with the hotel and they gave us a packed bag to take with us which was very thoughtful and convenient.

We loved our bungalow a lot. It was the last bungalow in a row so behind us there were only trees. One morning we were visited by monkeys. The room itself was very big and cozy. The whole resort is a little away from the main road but there is an amazing restaurant next corner so you have everything you need in one place. We also took a trip to the lake - we had an excellent guide.

The room and the location were perfect. It is close to the entrance of the park. The owner was amazing and very helpful. I had an issue and she spend a lot of time to help me. She and her team are doing their best for us to have a perfect stay. I only had breakfast there, it was very good.

We had a wonderful stay at this small, clean, and newly built resort. It’s run by an amazing and incredibly friendly family who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their communication was excellent, and they helped us book all of our tours in advance, which made our trip so much easier. To round this up, the hotel is very silent, no other tourists around as the hotel is the only one in the area and has three tiny houses only which is very relaxing.

We loved our bungalow a lot. It was the last bungalow in a row so behind us there were only trees. One morning we were visited by monkeys. The room itself was very big and cozy. The National Park has limited access to the public with only...

The National Park has limited access to the public with only 1 trail available (3k one way) for everyone so many people are on the same trail with little chance to see wildlife except for monkeys, snakes, and a few birds. If you want to go further into the park you have to pay a high price per person for a guide. The guides are quite varied and the park couldn’t recommend anyone with extensive knowledge of the ecology or wildlife. But they were good at spotting snakes which we wouldn’t have seen otherwise but only knew the name.

Khao Sok National Park is absolutely stunning – with lush jungle, breathtaking scenery, and plenty to do from hiking and canoeing to wildlife spotting and night safaris. An unforgettable experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers. We ate at the lake in beautiful restaurant simple food and then we took canoe ride around.

The park is huge and amazing! So much to do and see.

The park is huge and amazing! So much to do and see. What I didn’t like was the entry sign with the discriminatory fees listed. In English, “ Foreigners 200 baht “, then, written in Thai, “ Thai citizens 40 baht “.

Definitely go to Khao Sok if you love nature.

Definitely go to Khao Sok if you love nature. It was a once in a lifetime adventure that I'm so glad we did. The park is beautiful and the local guides are so kind. Definitely do a night on the lake if you can. We booked a private tour with Khao Sok Local Guides, which I found on Facebook, and they were great. Canoeing on the Sok River and the longboat wildlife spotting on the lake was my favorite. So peaceful and saw lots of animals. One perk of a private tour is that you can hike much deeper into the jungle on your hikes and can go off the main trails that the groups of 20-40 tourists have to follow. You also learn a lot more because you can hear what the guides are saying (big groups can't). Be forewarned that a moderate hike in the heat is no joke, but stay hydrated and you'll be fine. It's worth it.

Park is amazing - lake is staggeringly beautiful, the park is full of wildlife and the range of options for activities is very broad - trekking, cooking class, elephant experience, canoeing, etc. It's very big - takes an hour to get from the village to the pier for the lake. But it's worth it!

Nice scenery, but not as good as advertised.

Nice scenery, but not as good as advertised. Too many tourists and little chance of seeing wildlife. Too many bars with weed playing Bob Marley all day long. If that's what you are after, great. Also, impossible to get a Grab taxi from the place, you have to pay rip off prices for the local taxis or be lucky and catch the bus that isn't punctual. Maybe better to stay elsewhere and just visit the lake with an organized tour.

We chose this hotel for its location within Khao Sok National Park, which is surrounded by nature. The area is full of wildlife, so there’s quite a bit of insects, but it didn’t bother me – though it might be a concern for some. The room was beautifully prepared, and the housekeeping staff clearly works hard to maintain cleanliness. There are many shops and restaurants nearby, but the hotel itself also has a restaurant, making it convenient for meals. The location is great for those looking to explore the national park and go to trips.

This accommodation is the perfect place to enjoy Khao Sok National Park! It’s less than a 5-minute walk from the entrance, offers many guided tours at lower prices than online (plus, during the tour we got little souvenir gifts and fresh fruits like pineapple and dragon fruit). There is nothing not to love about the Hotel Khaosok and Spa. Photos do not do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful. The bungalows are well presented. The pool is fabulous. The gardens are outstanding; so very well tended. The food is delicious. The staff are wonderfully kind and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring Khao Sok national park. Joy can organise excursions for you.

The staff were incredible with helping us book our Khao Sok Tour and very friendly in general. The location is great being very close to the Khao Sok gate and main restaurant street at a very reasonable price. The food at the restaurant is very good and affordable too. it's the perfect place for a one night stay if you intend to stay 1-2 nights on the lake.

Great rainforest hotel, well located for accessing the restaurants of Khao Sok and the national park. It has a great jungle mini golf, a large pool , and a water slide into the river... huge fun. We went tubing down the river from the hotel. There are monkeys everywhere so it feels as though you are deep in the jungle. Spacious and clean family room
