An extremely comfortable and clean stay. The rooms and bathrooms were amazing and we even had our own little back garden which was again amazing. The hosts were super helpful. They helped sort our taxis everywhere we needed to go. Gave us all the help you could ever ask for as well as nice extras like an open fridge with loads of drink options.

Yangyai Garden Lodge is an absolute ripper of a spot in Koh Phangan! The rooms are top-notch – clean, comfy, and surrounded by lush greenery, making it a beaut place to kick back and relax. It’s a proper oasis, just far enough from the party chaos but close enough if you’re keen for a night out. Ping, the host, is a bloody legend. He’ll go above and beyond to make sure you’re looked after, whether it’s sorting your transport or sharing local tips. If you’re after a chilled, welcoming vibe with awesome hospitality, this is the place to stay. Can’t recommend it enough! Also the host has travelled a lot and has excellent English, meaning he can and will happily explain complex details and interesting facets of thai culture. All of his recommendations were excellent. Rather sweet place - we stayed four nights and my children enjoyed playing pool and exploring. We upgraded to the sea view villa which had a great position on the beach - although I think the jungle villas are very good value too. Its worth visiting the hotel next door for lunch as they have a pool and hike over to the next door beaches for lunch - there are actually lots of little restaurant options once you dig a little deeper - they are not so obvious when you first arrive as you have to walk to them.

The location of Bigblue is absolutely amazing, Haad Yuan has to be the most beautiful beach I've ever been on. It was amazing to be able to stay only minutes from the beach. The restaurant and bar was really great, the food was lovely! We booked from a Saturday - Monday to go to the Bambu Huts party nearby on Sunday and we had such a great time, would highly recommend going if that's your thing!
