the staff were amazing! most importantly for anyone attending the full moon party the location os absolutely perfect! no hassles with taxis or comfort coz the hotel is right on the beach so saves a lot of time and being in that location. the facilities were also very comfortable

Spacious and comfortable rooms with everything you need to enjoy your stay! Beautiful swimming pool and amazing staff. The place is few meters from the beach..you can easily go to the beach in your swimsuit if you want..it's on the opposite side of the road..you can see a corridor in front of the resort. Everything you need is just there. Perfect position! The receptionist with a beautiful name Palm, she's so lovely person, she can speak English very well and she's always there for you. So kind and professional! Also the guy who takes care of the swimming pool! He works with dedication! Always there! Never tired! Big smile and also he can speak English! I really loved stay there!

Haad Rin is a beautiful beach with plenty of bars and restaurants lining the shore and lots of shops, restaurants around the strip. During Full Moon week, the atmosphere gets wild—every venue competes with fire shows and loud music, creating a chaotic but energetic vibe. I imagine the off-season must be much more relaxing, though I haven’t experienced it myself. Personally, I found the Full Moon Party a bit disappointing, though that might be due to my expectations. I'm 40+, and I was hoping for a more organized event with better music and a diverse crowd—people of all ages from different parts of the world. Instead, it felt more like a chaotic gathering of mostly very young partygoers (early 20s), primarily from England, Germany, and Denmark, whose main focus seemed to be drinking and drugs. In November 2025, the original party was canceled due to the passing of the King’s mother, so I can’t speak to the usual experience.

Not the nicest part of island.

Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. Road between Haad Rin and Thong Sala and everywhere else on the East/West of the island is very steep hills to ride by bike.

I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over...

I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over touristy. But it wasn't! Yes, there are plenty of shops and bars and the streets are a little lively, but the beach itself is spacious, clean, and so relaxing. We aren't partiers and we had a fantastic stay in this area.

In my opinion, Had Rin is not suitable for families at all, but only for young people who like to lie on the beach most of the day and wait for the full moon parties. The best beaches are: Koh Ma Beach, Secret Beach, Malibu Beach Those who want a luxurious treat should go to the Anantara Rasananda at the northern end of Copenhagen.

The beach was lovely & was cleaned every morning.

The beach was lovely & was cleaned every morning. The sea was warm & crystal clear. There were bars & restaurants on the beach & a nightly fire show. Also many little walkways from the beach leading to more bars, restaurants, shops & places to book travel/trips

The beds are comfortable, and the rooms have everything you need. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help. The rooms are cleaned multiple times a day, and everything is kept very tidy. The hostel is ideally located right on Haad Rin Beach, making it perfect for the Full Moon Party – just be prepared for a night without sleep! The shower and toilet are separate, with good water pressure and hot water. The restaurant serves delicious food, and I would definitely stay here again.

Located on the beach, calm & flat, great for swimming & stand up paddle boarding. Walking distance to shops & restaurants. Great spot for full moon party. Provided with buffet meal night of FMP. Walk onto beach to party. Would definitely stay here again, perfect accommodation on Haad Rin beach. Thank you

It’s one amazing property right by the beach, the wooden look of the property is very scenic. The staff there speak good English and are very welcoming. Its located also in Haad Rin where the parties happen and is walking distance from where the main full moon party happens. Thai food served there is good as well. Very chill property and pretty cheap to stay as well. Overall very happy with my decision to stay here!
