We arrived after reception hours, the staff made sure to stay and welcome us with a smile. We got a clean and beautiful room with a very clean and new shower and toilet. The pool is excellent and the private beach is lovely for sunsets. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent with Thai and Western food. The staff took care of everything for us, from laundry, motorbike, snorkeling tour at a great price in comparison to what is offered in other places. (1500 baht per day at three dive sites with a banana boat). Many thanks to the lovely staff who made our vacation great!

Enjoyable stay and a fantastic location, especially for places like Malibu beach. Two 7/11's close by along with array of useful shops and restaurants. Just yards from the front entrance you can get a boat to beautiful Bottle Beach. Special thanks to the manager as I injured my leg just a day before coming to stay at Viva and after going to hospital and having to use crutches she kindly moved me to a downstairs room so I did not have to negotiate any stairs which for the remainder of my stay was a a real help.

A true gem in Koh Phangan! The location of the bungalows is really unique - beautiful green garden, just 3 minutes to an awesome beach, close to Lotus + three 7-Eleven stores, self-laundry and great restaurants & bars. Our family of four stayed in the one-bedroom villa with 2 king beds and had plenty of space both inside & outside on the terrace. We loved the privacy as well as the closeness to reception. We have used the laundry service once, our shirts came back freshly cleaned & ironed. Manager Honey is the best! So helpful and kind - thank you so much. Can´t wait to come back!

Awesome place to stay in Chaloklum. We booked for a month. The owners Robin and Fany are an amazing French couple who were very friendly, welcoming, responsive and helpful. They arranged transport from the pier to the studio, kept us in the loop on local happenings, and even helped us with luggage storage after our stay. Perfect place if you're looking for that slow island life without the hustle of Thongsala, the tourist vibe of Srithanu, or the party vibe in Haad Rin. Room was cozy, comfortable, has a large double bed, large fridge, kitchenette area with hot plate, kettle and kitchenware. Strong internet connection. Back area for drying clothes. Large bathroom. Chaloklum Sunday market at the pier, walkable to cafes and restaurants, 7-11, Lotus, and motorbike rental places, and lots of local Thai restaurants. Couple minutes' ride to Rittisak Muay Thai. The property is situated right on the roadside, so you will hear vehicles passing by

We stayed one week. A great place. And a lovely couple who run the place. Very clean with everything you will need. Awesome kitchen. Pet friendly (free of charge). Close to 7/11 and Lotus stores. Plenty of room for cars and motorbikes. Lovely gardens. Motorcycle rent just few hundred metres up the road from a guy who speaks better English than me. (Just turn left when you go out the drive way). Could have stayed there forever !

The accomodation is a stunning gem. From the second we arrived we felt at home. The communication with Dima and Petar is great and the check in was very smooth. There is cleaning every second day with fresh towels and bed linen. The accomodation is super cosy with a big 1,80 m bed, very quiet and from the terrace you have an incredible view overlooking palm trees and the ocean. It is just lovely staying there, working from the terrace, chilling in the hammock, making a smoothie with the provided mixer or having a dip in the pool. It is even so beautiful that we already decided to come back. In total we stayed over eight weeks because we loved it so much! We definitely recommend it! They even run an amazing organic, vegan restaurant in the village, where we ate several times. :-)

The beach is unfortubately far from what is depicted in fotos. The beach itself (water, sand) is fine, but the terrible view once inside the water as you look into half constructed building & similar, kill any joy. The water is calm and see-through, but no charm at all to be there. -- Very few pption to do in walking distance.

Nice peaceful and quite village in the north of Koh Phangan...

Nice peaceful and quite village in the north of Koh Phangan with an intact local community. Two Seven Elevens and some local supermarkets as well as a drug store, diving centers and several nice restaurants are located in Chaloklum. Taxi boat services to the beaches of Haad Kkom, Bottle beach or Thong Nai Pan are offered at the pier or near Viva Pizzeria.

A new building well fitted out. Great location just next to the beach and Chaloklum Main Street. The most comfortable bed I have had in 4 weeks of travel. Great responsive owners of property.

Great location, close to the Chaloklum beach and 7/11 store. Quiet area, great balcony. New, spacious and nice apartments. Check out time was at noon which is great.
