Fantastic bungalow located central of the island, very easy to explore both ends. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating, they were also very quick at replying to any questions we had. The bungalow was very spacious and cute. You can rent mopeds through the hosts at a good price and they can also pick you up/drop you off to the pier. Drinking water was replenished everyday and her sweet mum even offered us some lovely treats. Thank you so much.

This place does exactly what it says. It's cheap, clean, and close to town. It had aircon and was super cold. Obviously, it's not the ritz, but the price reflects that. And honestly, the CUTEST cats on the island. They run meowing their heads off every time you return. I'd stay here again for this price.

The owners are just amazing, super kind and nice people. This was by far our favourite stay during our 1 month trip in Thailand. Their place is very modern, well equipped with nice taste and design, excellent value. Take their breakfast, it is very good and also the best coffee we ever had during our trip. Best sleep at night as place is secluded and really quite, I truly appreciated it as I am a light sleeper and struggled everywhere else before. we loved that it is on the less touristy side of the island yet even more beautiful and authentic. The motorbike Franck gave us was in excellent shape. They advised to us nice places to visit on the island, thanks to that we had a hidden beach just for ourselves. We cannot recommend their place enough, you can feel that they put their hearts into this little secret “home far away from home.” Thank you so much Franck and Joy, and we truly hope to see you again.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Fabulous location on a beautiful beachfront position. Not too busy. It’s a perfect Thailand paradise if you like to get away from the crowds and off the beaten track. Like true village - huge and green area, great and fully equipped apartments, great bars in the hotel area, beautiful pool and magnificent beach in the hotel area. Maybe a little pricier than others but still value is great. If you want move away from the crowded and touristy places, like Krabi and Phuket - this island is one of the best choices: clean and empty beaches, friendly locals, great small bars and kitchens with lots of smiles. Highly recommended to visit Koh Yao Yai island and when visiting - the best place to stay is Koh Yao Yao village
