Super great location. Really friendly, kind and helpful lady who runs the place :) Some of the furniture and appliances are quite old but, still in working condition. The bed is really comfy. The room is clean and comfortable overall. If like us you're not princesses, this place is right up your street ;) - would certainly recommend to all budget travellers.

Less than 50 steps from the beach, a few more to a little shop where you can buy toiletries, snacks, drinks, and there are plenty of food choices within minutes. The room and bathroom are lovely and everything works. The little space outside the door is big enough for a deckchair (provided) and a small table. If you're lucky you might see a humming bird while you're lounging under the frangipani tree. Geckos and squirrels hang around too. Little touches like the provision of an umbrella, a beach mat and a broom to sweep your little patio are nice. Michel and Poon are genuinely lovely and so eager to make you feel welcome, Poon's cooking (Thai breakfast) is amazing and Kan the housekeeper is a gem. I hired a decent bike from them too and did a fair bit of cycling around the beautiful area before I stupidly veered off the road while admiring the scenery. Kan looked after me while my ankle healed and I got to hang out for some more time at this amazing little spot. Don't miss the Saturday night market on the beach (where you can even hug a buffalo) and definitely do all there is to do round about. I would go back in a minute - thanks Kan, Poon and Michel!

A wonderful place to explore the Sam Roi Yot area. The owner made us feel at home and helped with everything we needed. Our apartment, the Golden Elephant Suite, was very spacious and beautiful. Also the shared terrace, the large shared kitchen and the amazing rooftop are amazing places to hang out and have a great time, alone or with Mae and her lovely friends and guests. We could use the bikes and the Saleng, which was great to discover the bay. A paddling trip organized by Mae and the paddle monkeys beneath trips to Kui Buri National Park, Phraya Nakhon Cave and the Bueng Bua Wetlands - just to mention a few - where incredible and will stay as wonderful memories in our hearts. We can't wait to return.

The Host David and his wife were absolutely brilliant!! Very accommodating. The included Breakfasts were Yum, the garden beautiful and well kept, the pool amazing and just the whole relaxed vibe of the place relaxing and refreshing. We both loved it !!!
