I stayed here for 3 weeks and everything was perfect. The beds are comfortable, AC unit is new and keeps the room very cool, there is hot water (which never runs out). The breakfast in the morning is delicious as well (and such a good variety of Thai fruits). They cleaned the room every other day (or as often as I wanted). Cook and Nan are wonderful hosts, probably the best I've ever had at any hotel. They did everything they could to make my stay comfortable. I honestly felt like I was staying in a 5-star hotel with the service! Before I arrived, I asked if there was a table on the balcony for me to work from and there wasn't - but Cook put both a table and chair out there for me before I arrived. He went out of his way to fix the TV for me when I told him it wasn't working. He lent me his motorcycle helmet for several weeks (without charging me a dime). I accidentally stained the sheets and he never charged me for that, which he could have (and has happened to me at previous hotels). Cook and Nan even dropped me off at the bus stop when I left, carrying all my luggage for me. They made the stay unforgettable for me and it was a joy to wake up to their smiles each morning.

This is superb place to stay if you are in Patong area - from the start to the end the owner provided us with great hospitality,the room was big and clean, with the balcony with the view of the city, we loved the location- very close walking distance from the main streets for markets and restaurants, but still far from the noice and rush,which is here long in nights, so you have a quiet place to rest. Highly recommended, we were so happy to choose Riviera Patong hotel! Thank you!

It was the greatest and spectacular Christmas Eve dinner ever , the staff went above and beyond expectations with the food display , Christmas lights , decorations and party . A lot of restaurants to choose from . I booked a grande suite but was a bit far from the beach and isolated .

I really love Patong Beach, it's quite long so a daily walk...

I really love Patong Beach, it's quite long so a daily walk is a great idea. Sections of the beach have lounge chairs for hire (100 Baht) with umbrellas and you can stay as long as you want. There are Thai locals there to offer refreshments (probably food too) while lounging in your chairs which is pretty cool. The water temperature is awesome and great for regular dips during a relaxing day. The beach has some water sports available like jet skiing and parasailing and I highly recommend both. Jet skiing gives you more bang for your buck as it lasts much longer for around the same cost, but I have to say parasailing, although quite short in duration, is thrilling. There is a fair bit of rubbish on the beach at times, but most of it gets cleared up in the morning. Unfortunately, a bit of rubbish does get washed in from the ocean. During my stay, I was walking half the length of the beach every morning in different directions, so I got into the habit of taking a rubbish bag and picking up rubbish every day, mostly along the water's edge. I can highly recommend it, it's a great way to kick off the day, cleaning up the beach so everyone can enjoy it.

There's always something going on at this beach.

There's always something going on at this beach. It's not a quiet beach. You can go jetski... and all sorts of other activities are offered. There are designated areas for swimmers and boats. Bed and loungers are available for rent everywhere.

Central Patong Beach is very busy and congested, personally...

Central Patong Beach is very busy and congested, personally not my recommendation, however it is much more quiet at either end away from the central area. I would more recommend Kata (although it is wall to wall sunbeds - unbelievable really) and Karon Beach and highly recommend Kamala Beach.

Amazing, everyone is friendly and some sport dancing...

Amazing, everyone is friendly and some sport dancing activities during the night time for those who are into fitness like me as you can always join their cession and have some good sport dance ,easy to get around because of the many activities around, variety of things to do around and at anytime 😊!

Excellent as a location and general services and facilities however, generally the area is not clean. streets need more care and cleanness. people although mostly tend to exploit but in general are friendly.

This was my 3rd times of staying in this hotel and this round with a group of friends. As usual, big room with large bed, tidy and clean, comfortable bed, we had a quiet and good sleep. The location is still the best point as all restaurants, convenient stores, market, beach and Bangla street are within a short distance. The staffs were friendly and helpful. If we are to visit Phuket again, this budget hotel will be our top pick again!! We really enjoyed staying here.

We absolutely loved this hotel, very modern and spacious rooms with a balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfast buffet was nice and the location was perfect, right on the beach and right in the heart in Phuket only a 5 minute walk from Bangla road. The swimming pool was lovely and huge with a swim up bar which we enjoyed.
