Very well situated away from the main strip which is quite deserted anyway. Just across the road from a beautiful empty beach, although some of the sand might look dark and grey after the beautiful soft sand it’s perfect for swimming. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The pool is not big but just perfect. The staff were excellent and the food too. Quite small but a perfect hideaway after busy Phuket! Would certainly recommend if you want peace and quiet. The national park is beautiful too.

The Beautiful Flower Resort was a quiet oasis set amongst the jungle and rubber plantations. There are only 5 separate villas and a great good sized salt water pool. The owners were super nice and helpful. The beach is only a couple of minutes away on the motor scooter that you can rent from the resort at a very good price. The rooms have a deck with comfortable chairs where you can sit for hours and enjoy the peace and quiet. Highly recommended

Blue Shore Cottage is clean, cosy and just across the road from the beach. It's also close to restaurants and food stalls. We enjoyed it enough to stay an extra night.

The owners meet you and greet as good family members. They helped to arrange boat tickets and parking. Breakfast is nice and the price of the room hard to realize how the owners manage it: different types of fruit and main dishes. I had a wonderful time here. it was so peaceful and calm a wonderful retreat. Come here to find the real Thailand miles away from the other tourist traps in Thailand. This is a great place just to spend time relaxing or use as a basic to explore. San and his wife took me in and I was treated like one of the family and nothing was to much trouble for them. There is a small shop there which has all you need.

I loved this place, it’s towards the back of the island which I loved as it’s very jungly and because the island is small, you’re not far from the beach so have the best of both worlds, it looks brand new, I stayed in the bamboo hut with a fan, great size, super clean and despite the location, there wasn’t any bugs, I ended up sleeping without the mosquito net and was fine, the staff are so lovely, they rent mopeds for 250 baht a day, there is a great restaurant next door with amazing food, you do get power cuts but that’s across the whole island due to it being fairly remote and underdeveloped but that all adds to the charm, if you’re looking to experience a less touristy, more traditional part of Thailand, this is the place.
