This is probably the most traditional establishment we stayed in while in Thailand, and the least like a Western Hotel. Having said that, it was a thoroughly delightful experience. The beds are mattresses on the floor, so bear that in mind, but it was clean, new, comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely superb! I also only chose this location because it was roughly halfway between Pai and Chaing Rai, but was pleasantly surprised by the food that was available in the nearby main street, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the chedi on the hill overlooking the town, which was lovely.

Lovely Homestay in basic but comfortable bamboo cabin. Little heaven in a rural area off the beaten track. The hosts were great and looked very well after us. They thought of all the little details to make our stay comfortable and went to the extend to picking us up and bringing us back to the bus stop, making sure we went on the right local bus and talked to the driver to avoid any language confusion. Helped us order grab delivery for dinner. We had a great time, it’s rural so there were bugs but the hosts had a moskitos net and brought us so repellent - the surrounding is lovely. We went for a walk and the neighbour stopped us to gift us a papaya. Such a great stay, highly recommend.
