First and foremost the host Saow and her husband Gaetano were amazing people. Very friendly, kind and helpful about everything. The place was beautiful, the room was big , clean and comfortable. A super tasty evening meal from a real quality chef. The American breakfast was also above expectations (Bacon and real butter aren't even common in the poshest hotels around here). I didn't try the cakes but they looked amazing. The bed was actually soft and not the typical Thai plank. There was even a complimentary tooth brush kit in the room, a small thing showing that the owners are really thinking about looking after their guests.
