A very nice and comfortable stay in a pretty authentic area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city (although still close enough). Amazing breakfast with many options you can choose from, as the hotel cooks it to order. The rooms are quite big and comfortable, and very clean. Best of all are the hotel staff, who do everything they can to make you feel comfortable - often giving us a ride to the city center. If you are looking for something a bit more authentic and local, you can't go wrong with De Wiang Kum Kam.

This was by far our favourite hotel that we stayed in during our trip! I have been in Thailand for a month and my partner a couple of weeks and we really saved the best until last. Chiang Ron was the best (and most affordable!) - it's a beautiful family-run hotel in a peaceful location with the friendliest staff. Nothing was too much and we felt really well looked after. The room is stunning and very large with everything you need for a relaxing stay - we see why Ron came here and didn't carry on his travel plans after falling in love with this place! The bed is very comfortable and everything is very clean with a lovely hot shower and amaaaaazing bath. It's not in the centre of Chiang Mai but that's clearly advertised before booking and we knew we would be renting a motorbike. It was really easy to get to and from the hotel into the city by bike and there is plenty of parking available. The staff at the hotel even let my partner borrow a helmet for the day when the one he rented was uncomfortable and they do offer scooter rental and free bikes on site. They did lots of laundry for us same day and they really just wanted to help us in any way they could. The free airport shuttle is an added bonus too and it's not too far from the airport. We are really going to miss Chiang Ron and we will absolutely come back if and when we visit Thailand again! Couldn't recommend staying here more - book it!!!! :)

If, like us, you are looking for somewhere to relax after your travels then Sela is absolutely the perfect place to unwind, just 30 mins outside Chiangmai. The building is beautiful and the staff is most welcoming and attentive. The grounds are well maintained and the good-sized pool is immaculate, with both shady and sunny spots to relax. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and Windows restaurant, open from midday, offers delicious dishes to suit all tastes. It is perhaps surprising to discover that the property was built very recently as it echos the style and grandeur of yesteryear. I’m certain this beautiful hotel will soon become a go-to destination for anyone wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of Chiangmai for the peace and quiet of the countryside. All in all this property is an absolute gem

I really enjoyed my stay here. Having originally booked 3 nights, I decided to stay for another 6 days. The facilities here were perfect and include a private mini pool in you villa, communal pool, restaurant with so many options for drink and food, wooden saloon style bar with a pool table, free bike rentals and the Indoor restaurant is light and airy. The perfect spot Co-working spot in the day. Our villa and pool was cleaned daily and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. If you’re looking for a place stay that’s quite vibe not to far out of the city, this is definitely the spot. I travel for business regularly around Southeast Asia and this spot is a hidden gem in Chiang Mai. I couldn’t recommend this resort enough 10/10.
