Very comfortable with excellent AC and WIFI. Beers were 2.5 USD, breakfast included. Perfect location for Ticabus Terminal with 24 hour Denny's, Wendy's (not 24 hr) short walk. Art Museum also close by. Felt totally safe during the day in this area, not saying it was not safe at night, just didn't go out then.

Cleanliness, closeness to shopping centre of WTC, open bar 24/7, yummy breakfast were all very positive points of differentiation. Enough towels, a silent and good working aircodnitioning in the room a small fridge in the room helped make things more comfortable. But the real differentiator is the personal, flexible, kind, warm and personal service from all staff members. I have stayed in many hotels on my 3 months voyage through central america but this crew is amongst the very best I have come across. It is the main reason I have renewed my stay here twice. It is an absolute gem. Home away from home! The only point to improve is the rather rigid, and exceptional booking/financing way (to prepay 50% in advance through a booking link sent by the property over whatsapp). That does not give a good vibe in advance and, if not customary with local banks etc, in this age of cybercrime doesnt feel comfortable. I hope this will be solved in the future.

The last visit I had was nearly 30 years ago, needless to say the country and city is changing rapidly and I can say very positively , what could have been seen as a dodgy destination has been wiped away and I recommend the city and the lovely town of SUCHITOTO which was delightful

My daughter and I spent a month travelling around El Salvador, from Los Cobanos to La Union. We enjoyed every minute of our trip. San Salvador was the perfect place to spend our last two days before heading home. We didn't do any of the tours in the city, we just walked all over El Centro, or the Historic Center. We went to markets walked around the National Library, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace. We fed the pigeons, had some great food and did some fun shopping. Not once did we feel unsafe. The people are so warm and friendly. This place should be on everyones list of go to places before all the tourists come. Oh, we didn't see many tourists at all, except in El Zone and El Tunco, I liked that!

The city has changed a lot, Very clean, new businesses and law enforcement every where. I felt very safe. We went for breakfast to Pizza Hut, for dinner we went to Buffalo wing on Torre futura, and for lunch Merendero Saraí great Sopa de gallina.

Really nice people. We felt safe.

Really nice people. We felt safe. The roads were well maintained. Not crazy about the round-a-bouts but I can see why they are helpful. The pupusas were disappointing especially because we went to Olocuilta, which is supposed to be the capital/pupusa central but I think all the good pupusa makers left for the U.S. I say this because I get far better pupusas in Los Angeles, Pasadena to be exact. We also took a day trip to Juayua to find good coffee beans. The drive from the Capital was 2.5 hours. Very beautiful. Reminded us of driving through Panama or Costa Rica.

Lovely city, full of contrasts between modern and traditional. Fabulous and inexpensive food. Interesting sites. I was very impressed with the art museum, especially works by Cañas. We missed the anthropological museum because it was closed. The people were very friendly, kind and helpful. Wish I would have had one more night to spend at one of the beaches and try even more of their amazing variety of fresh seafood. For pupusa’s Kua restaurant in Antigua Cuscatlan, for seafood La Ola de Beto in San Salvador, so many places, so a little time. Enjoyed Santa Tecla, the old downtown district, the presidential Palace was beautiful and the library very impressive. Did a lot of walking and felt safe pretty much everywhere.
