The villa is absolutely beautiful! There are hammocks everywhere and you're literally 10 feet away from the ocean. The volunteers there were all very kind and welcoming. The surf lessons ROCKED. Ryan is an insanely incredible teacher. If you're going to stay here, you need to do a surf lesson.

I stayed 2 days and really enjoyed my time there.
I stayed in playa st Blas during the day and drove to playa El Tunco every evening for the restaurants and the night life. Check out farallones and al acantilados hotels for a more refined experience in La libertad.
The restaurant at the farallones is worth a visit at least

Beautiful beaches; it's is a shame business owners do not invest money in keeping the beaches cleaner. And some of the business owners empty waste in the ocean. So disappointing they have their business there and do not protect this beautiful beaches.

I love La libertad it has so many Beaches and places to explore. It is just amazing. If you live seafood or surfing this is the place. If you ever go there and like the living night and have fun like nightclubs visit El Tunco especially on weekends.

Prices do not reflect the value of the product.
Prices do not reflect the value of the product. The name "Resort" doesn't go with the facility since everything is rustic. Air conditioning does not work very well. I woke up during nights several times in a cold sweat. Bathrooms had only partial enclosures that allow water into the toilet area. Number of towels was limited. Body soap and shampoo was limited or none. La Libertad is a rural area that has limited formal business. So, wondering or shopping around the hotel is not feasible. I tried to cancel one of the two nights and was told it would be too complicated to do it. Food was fine but expensive. Prices were twice as high as what was available at next door beech. I enjoyed the views, the gardens, and the night tranquility. One night would have been enough though.
Eco del Mar was such a lovely place to stay. The staff on site (Jose and Wendy) were so friendly and helpful. My husband and I stayed for several nights, and we really enjoyed the proximity to everything in El Tunco. The hotel felt very safe, it had a delicious breakfast, and the room was very comfortable. We had air conditioning and a mini-fridge and it was such a treat. The messaging back and forth before arriving was also very helpful and responsive to my questions. I would definetly stay again and can highly recommend.
THEY NEVER RECEIVED MY BOOKING, APPARENTLY. After driving 10hours from Honduras, my group of 7 people were stranded because they said they never received the booking from booking.com. this resulted in us driving around in the middle of the night, during one of the biggest holidays here, looking for accommodation. we found a hotel in the city but had to spend almost $300 more! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. no response, no communication, no reimbursement! horrible experience as a foreigner in a foreign country!
First time coming across them. Located on El tunco neighborhood. Hotel area is very private and small but beautiful, cleaned, two pools, plenty of shade. Breakfast was good portions and yummy.
The staff very welcoming. Their bar drinks tasty and refreshing. Room was garden view, and very spacious. I had requested transportation and we got picked up and taken to our next destination. You can definetly walk to el Tunco where you will find bars, food and the beach views.
Very comfortable rooms in a fantastic location on the beach--literally one step and you're on the sand.
It's got a beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean, perfect for enjoying the sunset. There's a restaurant on site and several more next door.
The highlight though is the owner. A very generous and soulful character with myriads of stories to tell. He went out of his way to accommodate me when I was having a bad day, and truly made my stay in La Libertad remarkable.
It was a lovely hotel. Clean & comfortable. In a quiet end of town. Breakfast was great.
Half an hour walk into La Libertad Port town. Plenty to see & do. Other restaurants closer by, if you didn't fancy eating at the hotel all the time.
The beach was very close. We didn't have time to use the 3 pools, but we could see they were well maintained & clean.
El Tunco 30 mins taxi or bus ride at busy times. Quicker, if less traffic!
Great little hotel,. Staff very friendly, big rooms and comfortable beds.. Locals very friendly but local taxis will overcharge . Very quiet and a quick walk to a lovely beach. Great food and drinks.wifi in the room and all over the establishment brilliant. Always hot water. L
Technically i do not have the right to evaluate, because the PROPERTY canceled my booking the day we had to arrive. Guys, this is highly un professional, would understand if you were a huge hotel with 100+ rooms. Thank to booking.com staff i got a compensation.
Hotel's location is perfect- 3 min from the beach. Great crowd, and great guests at this hotel. I met so many wonderful people from all over the world. They were all very nice and like-minded. I think the best part of the hotel are the guests.
The view of the room was espectacular room was so comfortable. Staff was super friendly the pool was was warm. The beach was in front of the hotel. 100% recommendable i would still there every time i visit el salvador.
Staff was excellent. Location was really good. You can even walk to El Tunco. The beach is not the best .
Power and water were gone for a few hours due to the whether. Overall, I would stay at this property again.
Its a good hotel with good service. Also the internet works really great! Plus, its very close to La Libertad center! The beach directly in front of the hotel is nice, even though not picture perfect.
I really had a comfortable stay at Sabas. We stayed on the 2nd floor. Nice flight of stairs. The hotel was modest but clean, the room was a good size. Staff was friendly and accomodating.
