A unique place perfect for relaxing in beautiful surroundings, right at the beach. I booked a tent but because it was raining, the owner upgraded me to a bungalow for no extra cost. Good breakfast and dinner, and easy to get in contact with other travellers. 100 percent recommended!

My husband and I spent two nights here and Celia is an amazing woman, she speaks perfect English, she is from Portugal but she has been living here on the cliff for many years with the local community and teaching them. It's a really beautiful place with its own rocky beach. There is often a problem with power cuts, but we didn't mind as we came to relax. The food was fabulous. They look after lots of dogs but only let them out when guests don't mind.

We loved absolutely everything there. It is on a perfect spot, in a lovely village close to an amazing surf spot. Spacious and very well equipped. From the first day we felt home. I stayed here for several days over Christmas and found it charming and the perfect place to disconnect for a while. I loved hearing the sound of the waves each night. The accommodation provides all that you need for a rustic stay on the beach. Without speaking any Portugese, i was able to communicate with the staff in French. English was a bit more tricky but there is always a way!
