the pictures on the website don't do justice at all: the hotel is MUCH better in reality than it looks like in the pictures (it was a great surprise for us) ; the style and interior decoration are amazing ; the garden and terrasse are beautiful ; definitely a place to stay for hikes in the warmer seasons ; the buffet breakfast was great ; the buffet dinner was also great (good quality and range) ; the restaurant was beautiful ; the hotel was very clean, extremely well maintained and stunning in its architecture (a classic gem) ; the staff was helpful and respectful ; the location was excellent (e.g.: close to cablecars, hiking tracks, ski slopes, town) ; the parking was big and easy to move into ; the spa & wellness facilities were excellent and clean ; the bar was cool and barmen very friendly and at your attention ; live music is played on some days and over the weekend (pianist) ; the gopass included is a real bounty for the activities around ; there is a playroom for children and a big conference room ; the room and bed were comfortable ; the bathroom was clean ; we had a very good view from our room (classic room with view) ; we could even witness a sky-tearing storm ; the hotel is so good you could spend the whole there without feeling you're missing out ; I could go on and on but a definite gem in the Tatras ; one of the best hotels I've stayed in and would definitely recommend to anyone going in the Tatras ; very good value for money ; internet was good too and possible to work from the room desk

Beautiful hotel, great location, nearby all points of interest. The pool is great, heated (33-34 degrees), there's both a small indoor and a bigger outdoor playground which was really great for the kids. The room was massive with beautiful views of forests and mountains. Everything was spotless. The food choice is not massive but the quality is top notch and the menu changes daily which was really nice. Highly recommended for a nature-first holiday with kids. Having bathrobes waiting in the room exactly the size for our kids was a beautiful touch.

The region is full of lovely walks and activities. TL is just enough on the edge of all the main tourist activity to have a quiet charm yet proximity to the good stuff. The trains and cable cars were easy to negotiate and there is a good choice of restaurants. One tip: if you want to take the cable car to the highest point at TL, BOOK AHEAD!

Amazing town - easy to reach popular hiking spots, mountain lift in town, great nature museum (really recommend it for a rainy or a lazy day) in general good atmosphere and friendly people. We loved the nature and mountains, but also enjoyed that after a hike you could visit one of many restaurants or bars and enjoy a nice evening. We would recomend starting the day early - parking lots near most popular hike tracks fill up quickly, but honestly everywhere you turn nature looks amazing. If you decide to visit the mines be warned that tour is in slovakian and polish languages - no information was said in english and qr code near mine entrance with info was just like reading a history book and it was hard to understand where we are during the tour as we scrambled to see which part to read. If you can catch it we strongly recommend dinner and star wathing on mountain top - it was SO NICE - completely worth it for just getting on the mountain after dark, but also food was surprisingly good and they had live music. Tickets are sold by gopass and it happens rarely, but it shouldn't be missed given the oportunity. Oh and if you come by car seeing Unesco heritage castle is a must - just about 40 min drive, but so worth it. Be warned though it was also a bit of a hike so comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended.

It is a very beautiful village.

It is a very beautiful village. It is reallly nice when it doesn't rain because you can see nice view of the mountain, lots of greenery and some very good hiking trails. The cable car ride is fun, however the cable car from Skalnate Pleso to Lomnicky Stit broke down the 24 hours that i was there. I didn't get a chance to ride the last stage of the cable car up to the top of Lomnicky Stit.

Hotel Hills. An excellent service. We have been very satisfied with our trip. Professional approach and attitude especially from Karolína at the reception and waitresses Erika and Kristína. Amazing Wellness facilities. Only little set back is lack of air conditioning in the rooms. I would recommend to everyone to visit the hotel in a beautiful environment.

Wonderful mountains that will never disappoint.

Wonderful mountains that will never disappoint. Beautifully marked routes. You can build a route for any level of physical and technical conditions. If you have time and opportunity, it is better to find an opportunity to book places in huts directly on the routes, since it will take from two to three hours to get from the bottom (from Tatranska Lomnica or any other village) to the alpine meadows and another 1-2 hours to descend. Let me remind tents are prohibited. If possible, travel in the off-season and not on weekends, in order to avoid people crowds. Take care of nature, do not leave garbage or any signs of your stay in the mountains. Be happy.

Lovely town.

Lovely town. Very elegant, with splendid views of Lomnicky Stit, Kezmarski Stit and the Vidly Ridge. Quite a few pricey - and very fancy hotels - lots of restaurants. Superb train station - renovated, clean, bit old-school but in the best way possible. Overall I think one of the loveliest town in the Tatras belt.

Amazing place to stay if you choose Tatranska Lomnica as a base to explore High Tatras. 5 min walk to the cable car. Train station, shops, plenty restaurants 10 min on foot. Apartment interior design reflects beautiful nature of Tatras. Cosy, comfy and characteristic place. Very good price.

Everything was very nice. You can feel that there is a personal attitude, it is not a standard hotel. Everything to be able to cook, relax, wash. Quiet surroundings. There is a place for a car. The hostess welcomed us kindly even after 8 pm. We were able to communicate in English.

Great location and hotel/facilities. Friendly staff. Really great wellness and great layout of the hotel in general. We loved the breakfast and had great dinners in their restaurant. The bar/bakery opposite the road is also really worth visiting.
