Everything was absolutely excellent! The accommodation was easy to find, and the owner gave clear instructions on where to park and how to access the keys. The place has a great vibe, and everything exceeded our expectations. The owner kindly left some goodies so you can make a tea, coffee, sugar, salt, some herbs and spices included as well.There are also pots and pans for cooking and lovely coffee cups and mugs.The eating area is well organised and allows for comfortable sitting on high chairs for 3 people. There is a spacious wardrobe at the entrance and lots of space on the floor for your bags. The towels are provided.You can park your car for free in front of the building. Great communication with the owner.

The hospitality was fantastic right from the start – the hosts even came to pick us up by car at the train station, as we had gotten off at the wrong stop. Our room was perfect, with a delightful view of the hills, and everything was spotless and new, including the bathroom. The shared kitchen was also excellent, fully equipped with everything we needed. We absolutely fell in love with Štrba and this place. Supermarkets are nearby, and the station is also within walking distance. Truly a perfect stay!

Tatranska Strba is a great base for exploring Tatra...

Tatranska Strba is a great base for exploring Tatra mountains. It's a 15 minute drive to the Strbske pleso, and equally distanced from Poprad (the closest large city) and Liptovska Mara (big lake for swimming). Nearest big store is in the Svit (Lidl, Billa), and there are some local stores in Tatranska Strba, Strba and Strbske pleso with some basic necessities. There are amazing hikes in Tatras, starting in the valleys and looping across the high mountain ridges. There are many peaks to mount but it takes strenght and endurance, many creeks and lakes to discover. Some peaks can be reached by a chair lift. Great area for the cycling and mountain biking, long rides though.

If you want to go somewhere around Strba or close to Strbeske Pleso, don't doubt it and come here! The place is fantastic, spacious, has everything you may need, and it is super nicely decorated. We have been to several places in Slovakia and this was the best by far. Valentina and Sebastian are great hosts, helpful and communicative.
