That was fabulous experience!!! I cannot understand, that such beautifully located venue is so "modestly" occupied. Anyway Great Fatra is unique to me, and such accommodation experience only boost my love to that mountains... To be more precise, very helpful staff, nice breakfast, location... breakfast with beautiful view, jacuzzi after exhausting hike (track are not technically demanding like in e.g., Tatra, but quite long).

Perfect location hotel right next to the cable way and ski rental. ⛷ We booked the big apartment, it was almost brand new, new furnitures, new bathroom with huge shower cabin. Everywhere in the public area was lovely green tea smell. 🍃 Breakfast was very delicious. We loved this hotel! Highly recommended. 💗😊

The flat is GREAT. For this price, it has everything I would expect and more - it's pretty, clean, spacey, has a big comfy bed, very well-equipped kitchen, some toys for kids in case someone needs them. It's located very close to a great bakery and a convenience store, and in the general town centre with many cafes around, and there is a free and fairly large parking space just in front of it, and there are many great trails starting just two-three kilometres away. Not to mention that the owners are very helpful. It's amazing, and we hope to return there for sure!

Ružomberok is an old industrial town in northern Slovakia (...

Ružomberok is an old industrial town in northern Slovakia (during communist times is was famous for the foul smell from its industries), and a place you still have to drive through because the expressway avoiding the city has not been opened yet...and during my visit this meant chaos with three hours waiting time because of another road reconstruction work... However, there are great possibilities for skiing close to the city and a pair of museums (but aside of that not too much to attract visitors)... The beer from its first micro-brewery, Ursus, is unfortunately also nothing to write home about.

We were going to ski. The snow was good .

We were going to ski. The snow was good . We were relatively lucky with the weather. The sloops were short for us but we enjoyed . The apartmant is 100 meters close to the lift. We didn't have time to see the city but nature was amazing.

Transportation by car was trouble-free.

Transportation by car was trouble-free. It was our first time there and there was no problem finding the place. We had private meals. I am convinced that everything in the area is worth seeing. For the children, the climb to Malinô Brdo was an experience, they also liked the small contact mini zoo. They managed all the climbs without any problems, ages 4 and 9. There are many attractions where they could have fun. I highly recommend it for children.

The destination Ružomberok has many interesting locations...

The destination Ružomberok has many interesting locations that are worth visiting. These locations include an open-air museum, a village, Vlkolínec with its magical environment and places such as Havrania skala, Vlkolínske lúky, Vlčia skala. Vlkolínec itself is an attraction for tourists. Another such place is the natural swimming pool Kalameny a few km from Ružomberok.

A small town with very unique architecture.

A small town with very unique architecture. The entire center can be quickly explored on foot. The most beautiful parts are the town hall, the church, and the surrounding area. The most impressive are the nature, the surrounding hills, and the river.

I love the city!

I love the city! I went to ski camps here a lot as a child, so it was the location of my choice! I would have liked to enjoy the wonderful scenery in the summer too! The city is also very beautiful and organized! We didn't manage to visit much, but everything we saw impressed us! I can confidently say that we will be back! :)

It was a very nice apartment just outside the city of Ruzomberok, easy to find, clean. We received instructions and the access code via a mobile phone. There are multiple options for outdoor activities in the area. We can definitelly recommend this place.
