"The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the large rooms are beautifully furnished with solid wood furniture. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The convenience of having a fantastic restaurant right in the hotel is a major plus. The breakfasts served here are a delightful combination of à la carte options, such as delicious omelets (the champignon ones were particularly excellent), and a smaller buffet featuring things like ham, cheese, and yogurt. They modestly refer to it as a 'continental breakfast.'

The staff are warm and friendly. The room was very spacious, clean, and quiet. It's perfect experience to sleep on serene river sound only. In addition, the manager Sam did everything to accommodate my stay and gave very good recommendations for travel in the area and food/drinks.

Our stay at Apartmány Pietro was excellent! The apartment was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The location is perfect – just a short walk from Orava Castle. Free parking right in front of the accommodation is a great bonus. The host is very friendly and accommodating, and communication was smooth. A very pleasant stay for one night – we would definitely come back for a longer visit.

What a beautiful place!! The drive leading up to the property through winding beautiful roads is spectacular. The beautiful couple who owns the place met us and through Google translate we quickly had a brief conversation going. They are wonderful. The place itself is very spacious and beautifully maintained. How can I give it anything but a 10/10. Thank you so much for giving us the honor to stay at your place.

I was in Oravsky Podzamok to visit Orava Castle, and this hotel is an excellent spot for visiting it, plus it has a great view. The room itself was clean and spacious, and I was happily surprised to see a little kitchenette and equipment! And lastly, I thought it was very nice of the hotel to provide guide books for this region and Orava Castle, as well as local takeaway menus. It was very helpful!

Staff very friendly - had to leave before breakfast next day, staff kindly made me a packed lunch. Balcony view (from my room) was excellent. Room was comfortable, spacious enough and clean.

The main attraction is the Orava Castle.

The main attraction is the Orava Castle. Majestic castle carved into the rock that forms the central part of the town is a stunning sight. The neighbourhood is so green and beautiful with some good hiking options. Neighborhood is so peaceful, green and romantic, even though the Dracula castle looms over the city :-P. Food: Beware of the fact that every restaurant closes by 8pm. Its a small town with not many options to dine. The nice restaurant at the town centre serves great Gaulas and Slovakian traditional dishes. They stay open for the longest period. Try to carry some cash in hand as some places insisted on cash payment. Getting around: Buses are there and trains too to nearby locations of natural beauty.

Orava Castle is well maintained and staffed and well worth...

Orava Castle is well maintained and staffed and well worth visiting for a day. The town is also very nice to walk around. Many nice restsurants. One day is enough, unless you want to vacation in a quiet mountain town with few activities.

It's a very well organized and managed, clean place. Sure- it is not five stars but I doubt I could have wished for more. Well located, convenient, with helpful staff. Breakfast (included in my case) was fresh and very tasty. When you are there- ABSOLUTELY try their halushki, they are phenomenal (and they also cry of freshness, which is not always the case). Close to castle and to raft stop- which is also nice
