Everything! What a stunning location, with breathtaking views and surroundings. A beautiful cottage with room to spare in a highly sought after tourist area. Ski fields and mountain ranges just begging to be explored right from the front door. The accommodation itself was exceptional, clean and modern. So warm and comfortable, peaceful and close to nature. Internal heating, fireplace, kitchen with everything supplied, plenty of sleeping space and multiple bathrooms that look brand new. Great for large groups too, with plenty of onsite parking. The children's play area and outdoor fire pit just add to the charm of this rustic gem. Thermal water parks are within walking distance, there is something for everyone!

perfect price for value. coming back in a month ;) very nice and talkative host, but also not privacy-invading. no pressure with check-out hours. outside bricked grill and nice playground for children (didn't tested ;) ) local shop 3mins from apartment. comfy bed. almost completely equipped kitchen. pool table upper floor.

- Nice, clean apartment. They allowed us to place 3 baby cribs, which was very convenient. - All staff members were extremely nice - from housekeeping to reception, restaurant, and the various facilities. - The hotel complex offers many great facilities and attractions, including free boat rides on the lake, free fishing gear, a petting area with rabbits, and other animals to see, horse/pony riding for a small fee, bicycles (we didn’t try, so not sure if free), a very well-equipped kids’ playroom, and of course, a pool, jacuzzi, and spa area with four different saunas and a cold-water pool. Some areas weren’t relevant due to the rainy weather (outdoor playground, outdoor pool), but we didn’t feel like we were missing anything. - Breakfast was nice, and the staff also prepared eggs to our liking and porridge for the kids. For lunch and dinner, there’s also a restaurant with a variety of dishes for both adults and children. Bottom line: Highly recommended, even (or especially) off-season, since everything feels spacious and calm.

Oravice is a good choice for both winter and summer visits.

Oravice is a good choice for both winter and summer visits. We have been here several times and it was always a pleasant stay. Oravice ski area - too bad it didn't have evening skiing. We recommend the Janovky resort (15 min drive from Oravice) with a more pleasant slope for children and also night skiing.

We liked Oravice, the surrounding nature was beautiful, we also went hiking, the thermal pools were great, the staff at the reception and in the pool bar were nice and as a bonus we also had beautiful sunny weather. Thank you, we will be happy to come back.

The town is small.

The town is small. It has two thermal pools: an older (open) one and a newer aquapark, which is used by most visitors. The surrounding area offers numerous hiking, biking, and educational trails. There are three or four dining options.

A wonderful, quiet, peaceful town.

A wonderful, quiet, peaceful town. Delicious regional food, delicious regional alcoholic beverages, and many opportunities for active recreation. And I know it's silly and illegal, but we had a bonfire with sausages on the riverbed with the kids. The joy is indescribable.

Peace and quiet, yet close to nature.

Peace and quiet, yet close to nature. A tiny village nestled in the heart of the mountains, with a few cottages scattered throughout the forest, several dining options, and a shop selling honey and liqueurs. Two kilometers from the village, there are huts selling sheep's cheese. Thermal pools: the new one with numerous attractions, and the old one with therapeutic massages. Hiking trails leading to the Western Tatras begin in the village.

Excellent aquapark.

Excellent aquapark. For less demanding guests and in good weather, there is also an older pool available (we were there 25 years ago and it is still functional). However, they should update the website that the cable car only runs on weekends in the summer. We drove here unnecessarily when we wanted to go to the bike park. We would have saved time, gasoline and nature...
