Right from the start we were welcomed by the friendly staff. All facilities were clean and comfortable but the real bonus was the collection of tropical fish. What an unusual but very cool feature, especially as it is part of an effort to conserve these species. Would live to stay there again.

Excellent hotel, large comfortable room, with a kettle and small fridge. The front desk staff are so helpful and friendly. Hotel Kras is a 15 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to Postonja caves. We had breakfast included and there was lots of selection.

The room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast and you could walk to the Postojna Cave. Their shuttle bus took us to Predjama Castle which meant we parked the car and didn't have to use it again till we left 2 days later. It's an easy 15 minute walk to downtown.

Excellent service - the reception lady was friendly and helpful. After we reported that the shower head in our original room did not function properly, she kindly arranged another room to us. Our room was clean and comfortable with a modern interior. The breakfast is good.

This is a great place and for sure we will come again for longer stay! It is very peaceful, huge territory, very interesting and fancy details (for example special tree sign for your room and table). People are very friendly and speak perfect English. For a stay with kids the outside playgroynds are very good and not boring for few days. What is best is that children from different countries meet and play, which is very rare to find nowadays. Very good beer. Comfortable beds, apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets was very convinient for 4 people. Inside play room also good. Welcome cookies appreciated :)

Exceptional hospitality! Marjan and Tamara greeted us warmly with delicious food and shared incredibly helpful tips about the region and the best places to visit to fully enjoy the country. The beds were very comfortable, the sauna was easy to use, and the home had everything we needed to cook and relax while taking in the beautiful view. A delightful surprise awaited us with a delicious breakfast served early in the morning. When we decided to head to the beach, Tamara thoughtfully provided beach towels, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place with genuine human connection and kind, welcoming hosts, this is absolutely the place to stay. Highly recommended!
